Thank you for sharing this wonderful property with our family! There were 14 of us between the ages of 17 and 84 who enjoyed staying here. There were plenty of places to sleep and bathrooms for everyone. It is a nice quiet neighborhood which was great for going for evening walks. We appreciated Sylvia checking in throughout our stay to see if there was anything else we needed. Thank you!

A Must Stay!

We had an amazing stay. The house was everything that was described in the listing! Sylvia made the checking in and out process a breeze and was always prompt on answering any questions throughout our stay. The house was very roomy for the 3 families that occupied it!

Peaceful Easy Feeling

We spent three marvelous days in this house where time stands still and a new form of peace occupies in your mind. I'm not kidding. While my old rock n roll friends and I enjoyed our time together and had a blast, there was quiet and calm in those moments when we needed to just drift. The pool and patio area is superb with the big pond in the back and birds of all kinds visiting all day long. Very special. I went for a vigorous swim in the pool every morning, and it was rejuvenating and energizing. The house is very clean and the furnishings are exceptional. Our host, Sylvia, was amazingly helpful and accommodating, truly enhancing our stay. Harlingen is a town that only it's mother could truly love, but this house makes this destination very well worth it. We will be back.

We were in town for a golf tournament. 7 people rented this house. Sylvia (Manager) was pleasant and easy to communicate with. Awesome house, clean, bright, spacious. Nice comfortable bedding, linens, towels, kitchen is well stocked.

Great property!

Overall, great experience. We traveled to the Valley for my dad's funeral - they accommodated our last minute booking and made the check in process very easy. The property is as advertised - tons of great space - plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms - the pool table and spa/pool were an added bonus! My only "heads up" is that you will encounter some flies/bugs due to the proximity of the Resaca. The house has three levels, but really not an issue if you have someone in your group with mobility issues as there is a bedroom/bath on the first level.

Beautiful home, with a great host.

We had a wonderful time in this home. We had our family here to visit the beach to celebrate a graduation for our daughter. It was 9 adults and 3 children and we all fit comfortably. This home has every feature you need to be comfortable and entertained. We spent time in the hot tub and pool. The kitchen is equipped with the appliances you need to make any meal. There is a TV room that is quiet and dark, to watch any movie you’d like. The master bedroom is attached to a nursery/ room and it was very convenient for us as we have a toddler and two young boys. Sylvia was so kind, she took out the playpen for my daughter to sleep in. I added our own crib sheet and she slept well. The only thing is we couldn’t find the silverware and we found it the 2nd day. They were in a drawer under the island. Other than that our stay was amazing. We tried our best to treat this home better than we would our own as we can tell it is well cared for & many memories were made here.

Great family getaway

We have a big family and the house accommodated all of us comfortably. The house was clean. It is an older home that needs some touch up paint and the carpet on the 3rd floor stairs needs to be replaced. Despite the home's age and a few cosmetic things, she is a beautiful home! The kitchen was a perfect gathering spot with all the essentials. Comfy couches, lots of chairs to gather to visit and enjoy laughter. We didn't turn on the tv's but they were available. The hot tub was waiting on a part so it was not in working order but the TX August weather was so hot, I don't think we would have used it anyway. The pool was great and had shade in the mornings and evenings. The listing didn't explicitly say that one of the bedrooms is only accessible through a bedroom. We found out only after the booking was made. The listing also shows only one king bed when there are actually 3 king beds. Our hostess, Sylvia, met us at check-in. She was on time and very helpful, making sure we knew all about the house, where the thermostats were located, where light switches were located, how to lock and unlock the front door, etc. Our family had a good time. Overall a great experience!

The house is spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed. I do recommend travel size toiletries... There is 5.5 bathrooms with no soap, shampoos, conditioner. Only hand soap. Sylvia the house manager was very nice and always available.

South Texas Escape

We and our friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lake front house. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. The backyard lake front was amazing with numerous interesting birds visiting daily. The house is spacious and well designed with a big kitchen and lots of room to enjoy the scenery and entertain friends. The house managers were readily available and helpful. If we ever return, we will certainly consider this house again.

Spacious Property

The property met our needs of having a lot of space. Loved having the pool and hot tub for the kids. Property was clean. Close to a lot of restaurants a short drive away. Easy drive to South Padre Island for a day trip.

The perfect home!

This is the third home we have rented from the same owner. The house was a perfect fit for our big family! We used all seven bedrooms! I was a little worried about one bedroom being located on the third floor. I was afraid it might be hot, but it was actually the coolest room in the house! Everyone loved the pool and hot tub! Sylvia was amazing as usual! She took care of everything and was very easy to get a hold of when there was an issue. Thank you for making our family vacation so amazing!

Beautiful House

This beautiful home was a perfect fit for us. We had some family from out of state visiting and this home was able to accommodate all of us. There was 3 families of 5 staying. The pool's temperature was set in advance for us before we checked in, so we were able to use it right away. The point of contact Sylvia did a great job helping us with all the necessary details. We will definitely be back, we loved this home.

Awesome BIG house

This house was spectacular from the first step through the front door. Lots of gathering spaces, bedrooms were well furnished, bedding was good quality, linen were good quality also. Nice size pool and hot tub. Location was very good, accessible to many things needed for a great vacation. Sylvia, Manager, was fantastic, easy to communicate as in the past when we have rented a house from Owners since 2016. I would recommend this house to rent as the Owner's have it stocked with all that you may need for your stay. The house is large and can accommodate many people comfortable and spaciously.
