We had a wonderful stay! The house was well appointed, extremely clean, with comfortable beds, and a very accommodating owner. The neighborhood a little hit or miss. Many homes have recently been renovated, with a lot of new builds and some older homes remaining. In time I’m sure it will be a fantastic area and is very close to downtown. I would highly recommend.

Home was not - pre paired for the number of guest that was submitted. There were 5 guest … only 3 towels in bathrooms for the occupants. Not 5. Kitchen was not a functional kitchen if you plan on cooking… not enough utensils , bowls , cookie sheets that aren’t rusted. Coffee pot was shown in pictures but it was a kurig. No barstools in kitchen like pictures show… area house was in felt like an unsafe part of town due to the homes with boards and trash all around . Beds were fine, I would not stay here again. Very disappointing.

I would describe the surrounding area as 'transitional' at best. Many of the homes immediately around this one do NOT look like this one at all. Two of the four barstools were broken upon arrival as was the light over the kitchen table. The patio 'games' were broken/ missing most of the pieces. The home sleeps 6; there were exactly 6 glasses, 7 bowls, etc - and almost nothing for use in the kitchen...most all of the drawers and cabinets are completely empty. The home smelled of cigarette smoke upon arrival and there was a cigarette butt under the island toe kick in the kitchen. Throughout the house someone has done 'touch up' painting with the wrong color leaving the walls splotchy and two-toned - has no impact on one's ability to enjoy the home, but is absolutely indicative of how the home is cared for in general based on our experience. Technically, none of these issues were a huge impact to our stay, but this was definitely one of the least stocked str's we've ever visited. We contacted the host about the broken bar stools upon arrival - replied with a thanks for letting me know and didn't respond at all when we contacted about the smoke/smell. The home could be a really nice rental with a little more effort; beds are comfortable, appliances work, etc.
