The host was very nice and helpful. The cabin was exactly what were were looking for. We grilled our dinner every night.I will be going back and highly recommend this cabin.

Quaint and comfy accommodations in the rolling hills of Virginia. Clean and quiet with lovely views over green pastures with grazing cattle. Appreciated the short drive to Galax where we enjoyed the fiddlers convention. Personable and friendly hosts with well behaved dogs and a cat to pet should you meet. Thoughtful small doggy bed in place for a four legged companion. Really a great spot; fun staying in such an interesting cabin. Would love to stay again!

The host was helpful with all my questions! The Cabin was the perfect rustic log cabin we were looking for. The cabin was impeccably clean. The view from all windows showed rolling hills, beautiful! Not one complaint about our stay! The host was wonderful with my dog and her dogs were very friendly with mine.

I had a wonderful time staying in this quiet, clean, and super comfortable cabin. I had limited interactions with the host, but found them to be very friendly, respectful and immediately responsive. The sunrise views from the back window upstairs and the porch swing outside were breathtaking. I would highly recommend waking up a little early atleast once during your stay to witness it. This place is a gem and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Everyone was nice and welcoming. The cabin was nicely set up and very clean. Loved the bed especially, it's very comfortable and very relaxing. Also loved the view and the cows. Will definitely come back again.

We absolutely loved this cabin as well as the folks that are the hosts. The upstairs large bedroom has these huge half circle windows that look out over the beautiful scenery. Every morning it was a gorgeous view. This space is exactly how it is represented in the pictures and is a good home base for seeing the sites and then coming back to a nice relaxing evening on the porch. We enjoyed the yard, the dogs, the views, especially the hospitality when I needed some ingredients for cooking. Michelle and Tim are wonderful hosts. You'll love it here!

The host was very communicative, there were no questions unanswered or a mystery to check in. We forgot to check the box to add our dog when we made the reservation. Michelle was incredibly pleasant when we needed to update. They are dog friendly! The cabin is located on a picturesque meadow hill. The cabin is rustic, but beautiful! The inside is perfectly cozy and inviting. There is a micro kitchen, a nice downstairs bathroom, and the bedroom is up stairs. The queen bed is very comfortable and the bedding is layered perfectly for warm to cold Virginia weather. The bedroom half moon windows let in light, and give views of rolling hills with lowing cattle. The cabin is less than 10 minutes from the charming Galax Main Street, where coffee shops, food, and boutique from clothing, to kitchen goods, to antiques are all walkable. The cabin is 10 minutes from the New River Valey trailhead in Galax, and 18 minutes to the out door adventure area trailhead in Fries. We look forward to returning!

A cozy, cute, unique property, better than pictured. Close to town but with a very country feel. Loved the sunrise view from the porch swing, the sound of nature waking up all around us, and the Bald Eagle sightings every morning from the front deck. The hosts are such nice people! They provided ebikes for us to use; we took them to the New River Trail - an amazing way to spend the day, because this is a gorgeous trail. We also went to New River Outdoor Adventures for kayaking on the New River. Timmy, the business owner, is a wonderful person and will treat you right. We highly recommend them for anything river-oriented. Staying on the Farm was special and made for a memorable 3 days of together time for my husband and me!

The log cabin is situated on a hill looking over the beautiful farm! 5 min. From town of Galax and all its amenities and attractions. Very safe quiet neighborhood where everyone waves hello. 2 miles from blue ridge parkway and 5 miles to music center.

This rustic log cabin has the best views on the property! Take in the beautiful sunset from the swing on the porch. Or just sit and breath the Fresh mountain air. Listen to the cows and birds. Lay in the beautiful king bed and look out the windows at the stars. This log cabin is rustic but has all the comforts of home. Very clean and cozy!!
