Summary:
Welcome to The Sunflake in Stowe, Vermont. Located less than 5 miles from Stowe Mountain Resort, this is a prime, centrally located, newly furnished, cozy condo to enjoy all that Stowe has to offer. The Sunflake is particularly private. Right away you'll get the feeling that you are tucked away for a special stay. The layout makes gathering, cooking, eating and hanging out together a vacation bonus! Perfect for the whole family!
The Space:
A total of 3 floors separated by 2 spiral staircases with 3 bedrooms/2.5 baths - 1 king and a neighboring queen upstairs share a full bath, while the lower level has an open area with 2 twin beds, a private king bedroom, a second full bath and separate laundry room.
Did we mention new floors throughout?
During the summer months (approximately mid-July to mid-September) you have full use of the beautiful condo community pool tucked away in the majestic Vermont forest just across the road about 50 yards away. And you'll stay cool with AC in the primary bedroom and basement bedroom. Best of all, it's just a short walk down the hill to kick back at the Alchemist Brewery. And just another short jaunt beyond, to Piecasso for some of the best pizza you will ever eat!
Note: Community pool opening for each season depends on the condo association and is subject to change. Please reach out to us to confirm before booking.
Guest Access:
Exact property address and keyless entry code or lockbox code will be provided along with checkin instructions on the day of checkin. A digital guide with information on the property and area will be send out to guests 14 days before arrival. Please note that there are 2 designated parking spots for this rental only, we provide parking permit tags for your car upon arrival. There is no overflow lot but if you have a third car, please check with us where to park.
The Neighborhood:
Centrally located in Stowe, this condo is in the Fox Hill development which is less than one mile from The Alchemist brewery and numerous other top restaurants that Stowe has to offer. It's less than 5 miles to Stowe Mountain Resort and less than 3 miles to the historic Stowe Village. It's nestled in the trees yet just a short, easy drive to outdoor adventure, restaurants, spas, and shopping.
DRIVING TO THE MOUNTAIN:
This property is 11 minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort (with no traffic).
The mountain charges for parking on Friday, Saturday and Sundays but parking is free Mon-Thursday).
However, if you don’t want to pay for parking, we recommend the following options:
Park at one of the free lots closest to the mountain. There are two options, the Cross Country Center (5281 Mountain Road, Stowe) lot or the Toll House Lift Lot which is on your left as you get close to the mountain (but get there really early!). Once there’s enough snow and this lift is running you won’t have to take the shuttle to main lodge you can just ride the lift from there..
Or, park in one of the two lots on the way to the mountain, The Stowe Town Hall (67 Main Street, Stowe) or the Stowe Events Field (667 Weeks Hill Road, Stowe).

The rules, QR code for paying ahead, and the Mountain Rd Shuttle schedule and stops. Please review it carefully and really familiarize yourself with the system so your visit is as stress-free as possible.
Getting Around:
Vermont in general has a large percentage of dirt roads and dirt driveways. While we do our best to ensure that the roads and driveways are clear and passable, we cannot guarantee easy access to each property without a proper vehicle that has either AWD or 4WD and is equipped with proper snow tires. Please plan transportation according to the season.

PLEASE NOTE: By booking this property, you are agreeing to:
- The House Rules; AND
- We do not accept cancelations due to Stowe Mountain ticket availability or regional storms. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for requests to cancel that fall outside of our cancellation policy.
