So. Many. Amenities! Everywhere you go there are little touches that make it so enjoyable. The house was immaculately clean, well designed and decorated and just lovely, even in the winter! Barbara was fabulous to work with as well, ready with recommendations and very communicative. You’re close to everything and on a lovely street, with Lake Michigan just a couple minutes away. If you’re looking for a FABULOUS pet friendly spot, that is absolutely lovely (kitchen, furniture, one floor living, great location, great common areas) and has a super host, this is it!!

The thought of traveling 18hours with 2 kids under the age of 5, and staying in a hotel was stressful. I was more than satisfied with this property. EVERYTHING a family could need was present. Kids cups and plates, high chairs, a game room with kids toys were very appreciated. This property has amentities for everyone even if you weren't traveling with kids.We are planning to stay again this summer to enjoy the outdoor amenities.The only thing I wish was that there was another bathroom .

Yearly Summer Family Vacation

Every summer for the last 5 years, our family has picked a new beachfront town to explore along Lake Michigan. Muskegon was wonderful and offered so much! From easy access to multiple beautiful beaches, state parks, and bike trails, our family loved our time here. The property was perfect for a family and even dogs! Brenda has everything you need and organized to perfection. Our kids loved the playroom so much!

Our favorite spot

It’s become a family tradition to Muskegon in the summer in July and this place has the perfect amount of space and provides wonderful accommodations. The game room was a nice surprise and our children loved it! One of my favorite things about this place is the backyard patio with a griddle and grill because it allows us to all be outside while I prepare a meal for all of us. Also, we witnessed our daughter take her first steps here! We will be back!

Amenities Abound

The hostess thought of everything!! The house was not only in pristine condition, but it was also fully equipped with the comforts of home which made our stay positive from start to finish. This will be our go-to whenever we stay in Muskegon!!

Well stocked & perfect location!

Minutes from everything! Perfectly decorated & well stocked. When we arrived I realized I forgot the collapsible stool for our toddler, I opened the linen closet and TADA - a stool! There were even brand new reading glasses and nail clippers! Fenced yard is huge. Propane gas grill & propane griddle were excellent! My only request is a kitchen garbage can with lid and lock because my dog is a garbage picker. I solved that problem by keeping the trash bin on the counter.

We were impressed!

What a great place to stay. My wife and I travel alot and have stayed in many VRBOs and rentals. This is an example for all VRBO hosts to follow. Everything you could need and more. Nicely decorated and tasteful, being very attentive to every little detail, not to mention how clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is a little bit of an older area but safe, nice and well kept, being close to all the local sites and restaurants. I just can't say enough about how nice this home was. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood, close to beach

The property is within walking distance to Muskegon Lake and the quaint business district of Lakeside. Pere Marquette beach is fabulous, and only a 5 minute drive away. We had a fantastic stay, and our host, Brenda, is top notch. The home is tastefully renovated, and the large fenced yard is perfect for your furry best friend.

Lovely stay

They thought of everything that a family would need. The outdoor patio and fenced in back yard was great for our children to run around. The close proximity to Pere Marquette beach was nice too. There's a bike trail but with children you're better off driving since it's a little less than 2 miles away.

Amazing!

Property had everything we needed for a 3-day visit to the area. Our kids (2.5 and 5.5) had a great time. There were even a few toys for them. Wonderful space and a fabulous backyard. Easy access to beaches. Host was quick to respond to emails and provided lots of helpful information about the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Always Morton - the best!

We stayed at Always Morton with our two dogs. The backyard is fabulous!! The house is very clean and nicely decorated. Brenda has thought of everything. Location was perfect. Loved every minute.

Host had everything you could need. Just a mile from the beach, recommendations for things to do, and large fenced in yard for our dog to explore. I’d recommend Muskegon for anyone who wants to get away for a few days and definitely book an “always vacation” rental when you come

Wonderful!

We had a great stay at this property! I always bring cleaning products with not knowing what we are walking into, but we definitely didn't needed them here. Very clean house that has everything you could possibly need and more. The location is perfect. We brought our bikes with and could bike to the beach and just about everywhere else. Only took the care out twice. We really enjoyed eating outside at The Deck and the Lake House Grille. Our dog really enjoyed the gated back yard also. Brenda was so attentive and friendly when we had a question for her. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for this wonderful house!

Everything you could need

This property was perfect for families. The owner thought of everything you could need, including toys and books in the kids room. The fenced in backyard was also very nice for kids. It was extremally clean and beautifully decorated. We would stay here again.

When we bought this house, it was in really rough shape—one of those places where we wondered, Did we make the right decision? But as we started the remodel, we uncovered its true potential. We discovered incredible 10-foot ceilings, transformed a two-bedroom home into three spacious bedrooms, and completely revamped the kitchen and bathroom—making them both larger and more functional. Adding a main-level laundry area was a huge plus, too!

One of the biggest highlights of this home is the large backyard patio. With a BBQ grill, a flat grill, and plenty of seating, it’s the perfect space for gathering and enjoying the outdoors. The yard itself is massive—big enough for a game of frisbee golf! And if you’re bringing along your furry friends, they’ll love the open space to run and play.
