This newly renovated beautiful 3-bedroom apartment sits above a historic and legendary neighborhood tavern in South Bend. The apartment has its own entrance, tons of natural light, and three separate bedrooms -- one with bunk beds. There's also a full kitchen, dining area, living room space, and laundry area. It's about a 10-minute drive to the Notre Dame campus, 5-minute drive to Memorial Hospital, and 0.7 mile to the Ice Box Skating Rink.

The apartment was extremely clean and very well stocked to make for a very comfortable stay with 3 teenage boys for a baseball tournament weekend! Highly recommend even if it is a little off the beaten path from the University. Every place we needed to go was within a 15 minute drive. Thank you to Michael and Tony for a great experience!

We stayed at the newly remodeled 3 bedroom apartment over Joe's Tavern in South Bend, IN Thursday September 17, 2026 through Sunday September 20, 2026 for a Notre Dame Football game. The apartment is smartly furnished with exceptionally comfortable furniture and beds. The fully equipped modern kitchen had everything one would need to prepare any meal. The modern bathroom was complete with a sizeable vanity, toilet and tub/shower The place was immaculately clean, in fact I asked the host if we were the first renters. The check in/out processes were effortless. The host was always available. I can't say enough about the quality, price and value associated with this rental If Notre Dame visitors don't rent this place they are missing the boat

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment/condo. It was clean and spacious and very up-to-date/modern. The host was very accommodating and available for any questions that we had. We had a great time hanging out and partying with him and his friends at the tavern downstairs. We came into town to attend a Notre Dame Football game, and the condo and tavern are very Notre Dame friendly environments in décor and history. In fact, portions of the movie "Rudy" were filmed in the tavern/bar below which was awesome to see and be a part of. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone, but definitely any Notre Dame fans coming in for the weekend to see games or be part of campus activities. We are looking forward to staying there again and having another opportunity to hang out with our new friends.

We are South Bend natives who are investing in this neighborhood. It is a historic district and the building was built in 1905. We completely renovated the apartment and cleaned up the tavern, which is operating!

The neighborhood is quaint and quiet and away from downtown. There are many older homes and there is a rich local history here. Many customers to the tavern drive there to visit it.

We are unique because it really is a beautiful apartment off the beaten path. Being above the tavern is also unique. The tavern does not operate late into the evening, so there is no worry about noise late at night / early in the morning.
