Quiet, relaxing start to vacation.

We really enjoyed the view and peace and quiet at this resort. Whale watching from the balcony was so neat and waking up to the sound of the waves was awesome! Thank you for a beautiful start to our vacation.

Maui Trip

We were on the island for a wedding and stayed at the property to tour Maui before the wedding weekend. Everything was as described, clean and comfortable.

Gorgeous view!

This property delivered exactly as advertised. Super well managed/efficient process. Waking up to that view every morning was stunning! We spent a ton of time on the lanai.

Nice View, Some Issues

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit has a very nice ocean view. Upon entering I did notice a bit of a musty smell. The sheets on the bed were so damp they were almost wet. A couple things broke while I was there and in my opinion this unit needs a thorough maintenance update. Several drawers in the bathroom and kitchen do not open since they are obstructed by millwork or the kitchen stove. The doors to the washer/dryer do not close all the way as they are obstructed by the washer/dryer. Windows and sliders are difficult to open and close and the slider is difficult to lock. They are aluminum and could stand a replacement. The trim around the windows needs to be replaced as there are rust stains on it and it is in generally rough shape. The unit is cute in the pictures, and also cute in reality but the overall rough shape of the unit detracts from it's charm.

What a beauty

This particular unit was great. The little extras such as the beach items and bathroom incidentals was a real perk.The view and sound of the ocean were lovely. Would definitely recommend this unit. Thank you for another amazing Royal Kahana stay.

It was very reassuring to know that you could reach someone at any time for assistance. We were very happy with the condo location, appearance, cleanliness, and general condition. It was just what I was looking for in a getaway and looked just like the online photos.The lanai overlooking the ocean was perfect and listening to the gentle waves while watching for turtles offshore while drinking our coffee started the day out just right. The condo was fully stocked with dishes, linens, pots and pans, and we were very happy with all of the beach items that were available for our use. There are several great beaches nearby with good snorkeling and several restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away. We stopped in Lahaina for groceries on or way to the condo but there is a grocery store nearby in Napili. After we checked in, the property manager reached out to us to make sure all was well and to let us know they were there for us. All and all, we had a perfect trip and look forward to staying in this lovely condo again soon! Mahalo

Great place to stay

Everything was beautiful. The view from our balcony was stunning. We enjoyed the pool a few times. The condo was a little dated but clean and well stocked. We even had a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts waiting for us when we arrived!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in condo 308 for 16 days in February. I’ll try and give you the pros and cons.First off, you are in Hawaii!!! Absolutely spectacular view from our lanai. Almost everyday we could see whales from our lanai. Nice table and comfortable chairs on the lanai. You could not see the sunset from the lanai. We would watch the sunset down by the pool. Also, no sun shining on the lanai in February. I love the sun and my husband likes the shade. I spent a lot of time by the pool. Fantastic view of the ocean from the pool area. Plenty of lounges and chairs to sit on by the pool. They also had a few tables and nice grills by the pool. Condo has beach chairs, cooler, toys, and beach towels. Kitchen was stocked with the basic necessities. If you like to cook, you will need to buy spices. The kitchen could use potholders, chip clips and a scissors. The condo was clean when we arrived and nicely decorated. We appreciated our host leaving us coffee and Mauna Loa chocolate macadamia nuts. There were hard water stains in the shower and bathtub from people not cleaning up after their shower. We have hard water at our lake home. I use vinegar, dawn soap and a magic eraser. The stains will come off but a lot of scrubbing at first. If older adults with mobility issues are staying, be aware there is no hand rail in the shower. They have three elevators in the complex. The entrance to the complex is ramped. They have a ramp to the pool area and a pool chair to get in and out of the pool. The mattress was comfortable. Pillows were flat. Nice closet and plenty of drawers. We didn’t use the tv in the bedroom. Living room tv was great and sofa was comfortable. It was usually windy during our stay. This was our third time to Maui. Great location. I would definitely stay at this condo again. Hope this review was helpful.

Right on the ocean

We are so glad we booked this condo as it almost felt like you were in the ocean when you walked I. The door. Unfortunately there was a storm in Maui we were on the island. This made us appreciate have a really nice place to hang out during the downpour. Mahalo for a great stay

Royal Kahana

This condo was wonderful. It was clean and had everything we needed during our 9 day stay. The condo has been updated and had all the amenities we needed. Parking and check-in were easy. Condo is located within walking distance of several restaurants which we walked to on occasion. My daughter walked over to Hawaiian Trade coffee every morning. Drive down to Lahaina was quick and easy. The pool and beach at the property is very nice as well. I picked this condo for my wife and 18 year old daughter and didn’t get a single complaint so very satisfied.
