A Berkshire beauty, perfect any time of year. On 6 acres, with an in-ground, heated pool, four bedrooms and three "bonus rooms" (downstairs), a fireplace and two wood burning stoves, and magnificent gardens all round, this house is close to the historic Berkshire towns, Tanglewood, Jiminy Peak, theaters, restaurants, hiking, lakes, fishing, and more. Our pets have enjoyed almost all of the activities (ok, not skiing!) and we hope yours do to. All we ask if you bring your pet is an additional $100 cleaning fee (usually per pet). We love to cook and, as a result, we offer what we think is a kitchen as well provisioned as you will find. We received uniformly excellent reviews, but lost our initial listing because we could not respond to folks who wanted to rent a year in advance. We still can't, but we're hoping to get better at toeing the VRBO line in the future. We know that there is no way for you to check this, but our previous listing received 32 reviews and averaged 5 stars. Fall and Spring are magnificent and offer wonderful hiking. Winter is snowy, but beautiful, and perfect for skiing, cross-country, snow shoeing (we have one pair to offer), hiking, and just relaxing in front of a roaring fire. No matter the time of year, we promise you won't be disappointed.
