You are invited to this home that’s hosted, owned, and managed by a Native Hawaiian family with proceeds from staying at this property going towards supporting Hawaiian educational and cultural activities in the community. Your hosts are retired educators, born and raised in the islands and an integral part of the community, who reside in an adjacent home and who are available to address any needs or concerns. Hosts are also available to answer questions you may have, provide insight about Hawaiian cultural traditions, places to visit, and dining options to help you enhance your experience on the island. Guestsʻ privacy is respected.
Offered is a spacious, clean, and newly renovated 2BR/2BA house in a private cul de sac in the town of Waimea just a few minutes from restaurants, stores, and medical facilities. The bedrooms each feature a queen bed, ceiling fan, and dresser. The couch in the living room opens up into an additional bed if needed. The home is furnished with new appliances, beddings and household items. A complete kitchen includes lots of space for food preparation. For the health of guests and environment, non-toxic cleaning products are applied in the home. The carport and property can accommodate parking for two vehicles.
The unique ambience of this property includes native and other plants used for lei making, medicinal, and sustenance. In addition, the home is enriched with Hawaiian cultural objects and artwork depicting traditions, many of which are still practiced by those of Waimea, along with a library of books to expand your knowledge of Hawaiian history and culture.
