I am a Portuguese American who believes life should be lived to the fullest, so we embarked on this adventure of hosting in our home in Portugal because we believe in hospitality and providing our guests with a home that feels as much yours as it is ours.

We want to provide our guests with the charm, comfort and conveniences you have come to expect in a place where people are friendly and nature is beautiful. Where you can combine the fun of a day on the beach and excitement of a night on the town with the tranquility of a home that allows you to relax and enjoy yourself and your family and friends.

We believe that Portugal and the Cascais, Sintra and Lisbon areas are absolute gems that must be explored and enjoyed. We believe in experiencing it less as tourists and more as natives, and that means living like the locals do.

We appreciate the constructive and honest opinion of our guests, as this enable us to improve and better serve you and others. Please do not hesitate to let us know of your experience and what you think of our home.

My Grandfather built this property so it has sentimental value to us. When we purchase it we renovated it with everything we needed to make it our home away from home while simultaneously paying homage to my Grandfather who was a wonderful man and great builder.

Our neighborhood is traditionally Portuguese, with friendly people who care about their homes and each other and have embraced our guests warmly.

Its comfort and quiet location which enable our guests to recharge themselves after a day of exploring in Lisbon and its surroundings and/or on the beach.

The convenience of having a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, and more within 1 minute walk from the apartment and the larger town within 20 walking minutes. A list of our favorite locations can be found in our Welcome Book.

We also love the neighborhood and the people and how genuine warm and Portuguese they are.
