We really enjoyed our stay! It's a big place which is great for a big group. I believe there was only enough seating in the living and dining rooms for 6 and 8 people, respectively. That left us short but we just moved some of the chairs around or sat on the floor. Kitchen is nice though a little low on counter space when preparing food for a large group.
There are bears in the area, one came up to our door! He (or she) looked adorable, but that opinion would surely change if we didn't have the cabin wall between us. I hope he was just being curious and not expecting to get food. Many people don't realize that feeding wild animals makes them more dangerous to humans! So don't try feeding the bears, and make sure you aren't leaving food or dogs outside.
We only had a couple complaints. The beds vary in quality, but in general are not comfortable. Didn't keep any of us up at night, but it was an area of disappointment. Think low grade hotel beds. Also, there seems to be very little in the way of soundproofing. If you are in the bedroom on the main floor, you can hear activity pretty much anywhere in the cabin with surprising clarity. So if you go to bed early and some people are still up talking, you'll feel like you're sitting there with them. Yes, that includes being able to hear other bedrooms. Not the end of the world, but it's good to be aware of.
