Welcome to the Golden Oaks cabin in beautiful Wears Valley nestled near the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. We are grateful to have one of the most popular cabins in the area. Hopefully our amazing reviews from our incredible guests help to tell that story.

- 1.3 acres of peaceful property with a very large fully fenced in yard

- Spacious cabin with an open floor plan

- No scary mountain roads, access is flat as is the entire property

- Easy to get to with a central location that is less than 10 minutes to a back entrance for Great Smoky Mountains National Park

- Also an easy drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove, the Foothills Parkway and all your favorite attractions!

- Membership access to a large Swimming Pool and catch and release Fishing Pond 3 minutes away

Communication with host was great, easy check in. Home was exactly as stated in the description, no surprises. Exceptionally clean, beds very comfortable! Property was quiet and beautiful! Location was convenient to all the hot spots. We would love to visit again!

The host was very prompted answering messages and resolving any issues that arise. The house is beautiful nicely furnished nice amenities and we met the cleaning crew and they were so so kind. Sorry we had to leave early because of the storm.

Our stay at this home was absolutely perfect for both us and our pups! The highlight was easily the fully fenced yard, which was secure and spacious enough for the dogs to run freely while we relaxed on the porch. It is so rare to find a rental where you can truly let your guard down knowing the yard is pet-safe.The home itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a week long getaway. If you are looking for a stress-free, dog-friendly retreat, I cannot recommend this place enough. Mathew was a great host as usual and we'll be returning again next year!!

This place has it all! A hard-to-find, one-level home with an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, immaculate housekeeping, plentiful and comfortable furnishings, fenced-in yard, screened-in porch, etc. You can tell the owners take pride in this home. The area is super quiet and peaceful. The owners messaged us to make sure all was good and if we needed anything. Will definitely be back!

Always a great stay! In fact, we love the property so much we’ve been here half a dozen times and counting! Great property for dogs as the back yard is HUGE and completely fenced. Owners are responsive and great at checking in with guests! Already planning on booking again for our Spring trip!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely, amazing cabin. First of all, it was extremely clean when we arrived. It is spacious and has a true mountain feel when you walk in. It is well stocked with everything you need. The location is fabulous! If you don’t like driving up a steep mountain road, then this cabin is definitely for you. Golden Oaks is easy to access, something that was important to me. Also, I loved the large outdoor area. The host was very friendly and responsive. I have stayed in many cabins in the Smoky Mts and this one was by far the best!!

Beautiful Place!!

We visited with our 3 kids (ages 12,7, and 1) and our 13 year old dog. The location is pretty central in Wears Valley, close to food, gas stations, general stores (would also be a great place to stay for Wears Valley Fall Festival in October bc it’s so close!) The yard is great for kids and dogs. We were able to throw a football with kids in the side yard and keep an eye on our dog in the fenced back yard. We also really liked that this place is one level. We live about an hour away from this area and visit frequently, but cabins are really hard for us to stay in due to stairs/multiple levels while having a toddler and an elderly dog. This was accessible/safe for everybody.Idk that I saw this on the descriptions, but this rental had 3 Roku TVs where we could log in to our streaming services, which kept all of our kiddos happy. We enjoyed the hot tub as well, and we appreciated the kitchen being so well stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunches there. There’s also a pool and fishing pond super close. Would definitely recommend, and we are looking forward to renting this property again!!

Wonderful Stay

We booked our stay for a week in July to suprise our boys with a birthday trip to the Titanic museum. The house was very clean, smelled wonderful. It had everything we needed for a week's stay. I loved the extra blankets and all the extra seating. Lots of choices to choose from for a good reading session!We loved the enclosed porch - perfect for mornings! The fenced in backyard was a huge plus! The area is quiet. We also loved the neighborhood pool access!It is a great location to travel to Pigeon Forge and the National Park. The Owners were very responsive to any inquiry I had. You can tell how much they care.

Loved this property!

This cabin was absolutely perfect for me and my two sons (6 and 14). We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, local restaurants, and the relaxation! It was fully stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!

Lovely Cabin

Cabin is clean, spacious and exactly as described. I appreciated the fenced yard for our dogs, who loved their time here. The location is great if you're looking for convenience but want to feel like you're "getting away"-- everything you need like gas, coffee, restaurants--are all within minutes; Pigeon Forge is about 20 min or so drive. Matthew was a very responsive host, checking in on us the first day and always available for questions, if needed. Highly recommend!

We love being so close to one of the back door entrances to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is convenient and less busy. Having such a peaceful setting with access to a great pool and fishing pond is wonderful. Also being a short drive from all that Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Townsend have to offer is very convenient.
