Welcome to the Golden Oaks cabin in beautiful Wears Valley nestled near the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. We are grateful to have one of the most popular cabins in the area. Hopefully our amazing reviews from our incredible guests help to tell that story.

What makes people come back time and again? Here are some of the top amenities offered at Golden Oaks:

- 1.3 acres of peaceful property with a very large fully fenced in yard

- Spacious cabin with an open floor plan

- No scary mountain roads, access is flat as is the entire property

- Easy to get to with a central location that is less than 10 minutes to a back entrance for Great Smoky Mountains National Park

- Also an easy drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove, the Foothills Parkway and all your favorite attractions!

- Membership access to a large Swimming Pool and catch and release Fishing Pond 3 minutes away

- Pet friendly (dogs only). Please see more details below.

- All living is on one level, just a couple steps up from the parking area

- Large game room with Black Diamond slate pool table

- Hot tub located on the peaceful back deck

The owner was highly communicative, responsive, and genuinely friendly. The listing matched the property perfectly.My family spent a few days enjoying the spotless home, the great yard for our dog, and the well-equipped kitchen. Each morning, I relaxed on the covered porch with a cup of coffee, watching the sunrise. There’s also a community pond and pool—the pool wasn’t open during our stay, but it looked fantastic. I highly recommend choosing this property for your stay.

We visit the area often and we've stayed in countless cabins but this is the first time I've ever left a review because I want everyone to know how amazing this little cabin is. It's absolutely perfect, simple but yet has everything we could've asked for. It checked every single box for our family. Beautiful, clean and far enough away from the busy strip. Just a short drive and you are in the heart of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The property is just gorgeous and my favorite part is the screened in porch. Owners are so very kind which is always a plus. We have already booked for August and planning to return again next March.

The host was very prompted answering messages and resolving any issues that arise. The house is beautiful nicely furnished nice amenities and we met the cleaning crew and they were so so kind. Sorry we had to leave early because of the storm.

This home was so clean and cozy. The yard was such a plus with our dog. We did not find any evidence of previous dogs either. We felt very at home. It is spread out well. The screened in porch was beautiful. I would suggest bringing some lysol wipes to clean up after yourself as we did not find any cleaning products, but this was no big deal. The neighborhood is quiet. It is a very calmimg atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable as well. Big bonus we had a mama and her yearlings visit us one night. Be sure to not leave food in your car and locl your doors! Also check the yard at night for wildlife before letting your dog out. Bring a flashlight! We will definitely be back. The hosts were so attentative! P.S. loved the Meyer's soap :)

Our stay at this home was absolutely perfect for both us and our pups! The highlight was easily the fully fenced yard, which was secure and spacious enough for the dogs to run freely while we relaxed on the porch. It is so rare to find a rental where you can truly let your guard down knowing the yard is pet-safe.The home itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a week long getaway. If you are looking for a stress-free, dog-friendly retreat, I cannot recommend this place enough. Mathew was a great host as usual and we'll be returning again next year!!

This place has it all! A hard-to-find, one-level home with an incredibly well-stocked kitchen, immaculate housekeeping, plentiful and comfortable furnishings, fenced-in yard, screened-in porch, etc. You can tell the owners take pride in this home. The area is super quiet and peaceful. The owners messaged us to make sure all was good and if we needed anything. Will definitely be back!

We love being so close to one of the back door entrances to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is convenient and less busy. Having such a peaceful setting with access to a great pool and fishing pond is wonderful. Also being a short drive from all that Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Townsend have to offer is very convenient.
