Great House in Oakland Park

The house didn't disappoint. Val the property manager responded and took care of a small issue very quickly. I'd stay here again, the house was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Lovely Oakland Park House with Pool

Stayed here last year and rebooked. Wonderful large backyard, house has all amenities listed and is in a very quiet residential location. Sunny backyard. Property managers are friendly and flexible . Walking distance to downtown OP. Highly recommend!

Perfect Homey Stay

Best stocked kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. of anywhere I've rented. It may seem simple, but there was a basket of pool towels, which was fantastic. Goody bag upon arrival with toilet paper, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. Binder with helpful instructions about the property. Very short drive to numerous public beach parking locations. Lots of great restaurants and even a micro-brewery within safe walking distance of the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Eric was an extremely nice. House was exactly what the pictures show. Second night there I purchased another floor fan because the house was hot. ( primary and second bed ) third day we noticed the second thermostat in the hallway set on 83. Eric only shows up the one in the dining room. Any how I left the new fan in the primary hoping to use it when we return. House is lovely , neighborhood is so quiet. We didn’t want to leave.

Overall a good stay.

Property was roomy and loved the back yard. Did not use the pool. Nice quiet neighborhood. Communication with Short Stay was fine. Toaster did not work and it was replaced the next day. However ironing board was broken and it was not replaced despite my request. Dishwasher also did not work properly. Soap dispenser would not open and the drying cycle did not work.

Great property for a family location. Outside space is very nice. Since the pool isn’t heated, it can be cold even during the day. Property managers were very responsive.

Nasty & Disgusting!

Online pics are NOTHING like the actual property. House stunk, pool was filthy, house was filthy, patio & grill were filthy, furniture is not what you see online, ice maker was broken, stove top was nasty, there was a dry rotted Christmas wreath stored near furnace (fire hazzard). I left the property an hour after arriving and had to get a hotel. I only wish VRBO would allow me to upload photos of this nasty rat hole.

Great place.

The only thing is that the pool is not heated. If this house had a heated pool it would be perfect for anytime of the year.

Great property with wonderful outdoor space

We had a wonderful experience at this property. Plenty of room inside with comfortable bedding etc., but most of our time was spent enjoying the outdoor space and the pool. The management team (short term stay) was very accommodating and helpful answering questions prior to our stay. I did not have a good experience with Evolve in the spring when we had to cancel because of Covid, but this experience was very good. Highly recommend this property.

Quick Trip to Lauderdale

This home is located a short distance from major roads in a modest residential community. The location alone, close to shopping, dining and the beach is worth it. The home is very accurately described in the listing and everything was in good working order. The back yard is very private and although we didn't use the pool (not heated) due to the weather and time of year, it was disclosed and is a nice addition for warmer weather. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We really enjoyed the property and the location was perfect. Clean and had everything we could wish for. The only minor complains was the beach sun chairs which was a bit broken and that the dishwasher detergent lid didn't open sometimes.

Great convenient location, very nice private back yard. Easy to deal with property managers. Perfect for our family of 5 adults. Great sectional sofa and open floor plan for visiting.

Loved this house !

I had a wonderful experience at this house. It was clean, roomy and loved all of the bedrooms. Evolve was a wonderful company to work with and they were super responsive before and during our stay. Would recommend this house if you want to feel comfortable and also have a lovely pool and quaint backyard as well.

Amazing backyard

The house, pool and backyard are beautiful! My only complaints is that I was told there is no switch for the pool light which makes the pool at night less usable. This was very disappointing!

Beautiful home. Close to everything

We loved this home!! We did have a few hiccups the first day but everything was addressed in a timely manner and fixed promptly. The pictures are exactly how it looks in person. It may actually look even better in person! Beautiful rooms, wonderfully decorated and the pool/backyard was top notch. You don’t really have to go anywhere but the house is located a short drive to the beach and the downtown Fort Lauderdale area with great food and nightlife. Close to all stores so you can easily stock the house. Great kitchen, very spacious, 5 of us we’re cooking and hanging out in the area comfortably. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you to everyone at short stay!!
