Indulge in a romantic beachfront getaway at the Sand Dollar Suite! This remodeled guesthouse features front and rear decks, a firepit, a well-equipped kitchenette, a Smart TV, and plenty of ocean breezes, ensuring a vacation on the Northern California Coast that you won't soon forget!



What's nearby:

This oceanfront guesthouse sits just a few steps from the beach, allowing you to easily spend your day's beachcombing and whale watching. There are numerous parks nearby, including the Fort Bragg Dog Park (if you brought your furry friend with you), Noyo Headlands Park, and MacKerricher State Park, all of which are less than six miles away. For dining options, head into Fort Bragg proper just five miles from your front door.

Check-in Form: To ensure a smooth and secure stay for all guests, we kindly require completion of our short check-in form after booking. Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs (50 lbs or under). A nightly pet fee applies and all pets must be disclosed at booking. Beautiful seaside location

Quiet beachside location, light and airy decor, comfortable ks bed and nice couch. Small refrigerator, induction hot plate with two burners, microwave and toaster oven. Very pleasant stay there.

Beautiful stay

This property was perfect for my boyfriend and I to get away for a few days. We enjoyed walking up to an ocean view morning and the guest house is the perfect size for the two of us! Absolutely beautiful and definitely recommend it!!!

Great place!

Really nice accommodations with wonderful ocean views. Highly recommend. Note internet connection is very spotty.

Amazing views!

Super cute and super clean place to stay with amazing views of the ocean. Short walk to the beach. Had my coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean. Just beautiful!!

Great vibe

We spent three nights and had the most relaxing vacation. Just short few minutes to Fort Bragg for eats and drinks or a little further for site-seeing in Mendocino. This place has the best vibe of any place we’ve stayed. Will do so again soon.

we have rented this property and the house several times and plan to continue. love the location best. suite is clean and nicely fixed up. cozy, with all the rain on our last trip we could stay inside and still enjoy the ocean.

Enjoyed our stay. I wish the crib was optional. It was def in the way and I walked into it quite a few times. Bed was a firm mattress which was perfect for us.

Perfect cozy getaway

Second time staying at this property, first time in the studio suite. It was perfect. Had all the amenities we needed and plenty of space for us and our two toddlers AND 3 big dogs. However, one of our dogs is getting on years and a hard time getting down the stairs due to bad hips. If your dog falls into that same category and is not easily carried, you might reconsider bringing them along. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!!! We especially love the location and cleanliness of this property!!!

Lovely place close to the beach

This is a very nice spot with a great view. Unfortunately due to the furniture arrangement we only had a view if we were on the bed or on the deck. You can’t sit in the seating area and see the ocean. But, that’s ok, we went for longs walks on the path basically right in front of the house. There is a hot plate, toaster oven and a microwave, so the kitchen is not super well equipped but we managed to do well with meals anyway. The bed is very comfortable and we slept well. The stairs are steep coming and going especially after a two hour walk! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful, but...

Wonderful, quiet, and scenic, right across the street from the beach. Check in was challenging after a long day of travel. No onsite manager, lock code didn't work. Ten minutes on the phone with a "service agent" finally got us into the property using a different code and a different lock box. Frustrating start to an otherwise pleasant stay.

Best location ever!

This is our second stay here with two kids and dogs. You can’t beat the location. Truly perfect. The bed is comfortable as well as the pull out sofa bed. Sunset views and beach days are beautiful. We cooked all our meals and appreciated the toaster oven, microwave and hot plate. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a few more cooking utensils ( a spatula for cooking pancakes and a few more wooden or plastic spoons would be super helpful). Oh, also, even though we removed shoes with dogs and kids sand happened and I really wished for a broom and dustpan for a daily sweep up. Other than that this is our yearly vacation we look forward to!

Stairs!!!! A steep staircase was not mentioned in advertising. Cute little cottage with beautiful ocean views. Nice decor accents. Only set up for tall people. Bar stools were the only chairs. High up bed. At 5 feet tall it was nearly impossible for me to navigate the furniture. No comfy chair like the photos, only a sofa. Tall sided shower too. Cute but will not stay again.

Faulty, illegal electric wiring in the kitchen

Multiple problems with electric wiring, nonexistent WiFi. The unit is part of a larger house and we were overrun by the large party with seven kids who rented the main house.

Located right on the beach.

Great location. The beach is across the road and a short walk. The property faces the ocean and has views straight at the ocean. Crack open a window and listen to the waves. Located in a great neighborhood and only a few minutes from Ft.Bragg. Immaculately clean, looks to have been newly painted. Nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed. Nice kitchenette. Easy to control room temperature. Big bathroom, nice tub and shower. Our dogs did great. No broom or vacuum for the sand they dragged in. Only negative thing I’d have to say is that there isn’t a chair an ottoman seen in pictures; just a couch. So not a lot of seating. Wasn’t a problem. Keyless entry was tricky. Enjoyed our stay and will certainly return.

Quiet, safe neighborhood across from ocean

It has stairs to climb with your bags. The code lock was frustrating to work - had to try a few times each time to get open. One room sweet is nicely decorated. Deck looks out across to ocean. Heavenly to hear the waves from bed and watch sunsets from deck. Deck chairs are deep and need some back cushions. Need a few wall hooks on which to hang clothes since no closets. Floors were dirty, in need of mopping. Bathtub needs a non- slip pas because it is very slippery. No beach towels were provided as indicated on write- up page online. No backyard spa which was mentioned in reviews. Overall, nice,pleasant suite for two people for three nights.
