This home had ample stay for our family New Years trip (2 kids and 5 adults). The beds were comfy and the location wasn’t too far from shops and restaurants. There were quite a few “easier” fixes that could’ve made our stay more enjoyable (e.g., downstairs shower took an extensive amount of time to drain after use which was gross, throw pillows and family room/dining room furniture was really undersized, uncomfortable, and obviously very used, rug in family room was falling apart and definitely needs to be replaced, there were no available ziplocks/foil, dishwasher pods were all damp and falling apart), but nothing was “awful”. Seemed like a good value overall, but I definitely encourage the host to consider making some updates to really enhance future stays.

The place itself was gorgeous and a great amount of space for our 7 family members. What we noticed was there were lots of little / big things that we needed to reach out to the host for. I reached out about the downstairs shower clogging which we then had to unclog and avoid using that restroom. We also noticed lots of rat dropping in the kitchen which we cleaned up but noticed some more in the closet where there was cleaning supplies. We also noticed lots of stains on the carpets and the couches and such. There are also no curtains at the entire cabin which means there is no privacy from the neighbors around the cabin as you can see pretty much everything from every corner of the cabin. Also, the day of check out, the cleaning lady came into the cabin before checking if we had checked out or not. Check out was scheduled at 12pm by the host and the cleaning lady was coming into the cabin at 11am. I mentioned to her that our check out was at 12pm which she then went back and forth with me for a few minutes at the door stopping us from closing it. I showed her my proof and she insisted that she would contact the host. That honestly was the worst part of it. We reached out to the host about it but never heard back so we just checked out and left.

My family of 5 stayed here for Christmas a total of 4 days. It was such a pleasant stay very relaxing and accommodating. Very spacious and welcoming!! We will be booking again.
