The Space:

Treat your whole family to an unforgettable vacation on the Northern Oregon Coast at this vintage home with a picture-framed view of Cape Meares landmark Pyramid Rock from the living room. This spacious rental features such amenities as a half-acre level grounds, bean bag toss, horseshoe pit, and good partial ocean views.



In a beautiful quiet rural area, this home's location is perfect for beach days or exploring the area's abundant natural beauty. But if you'd like to sample the scene in town, take an eight-mile drive southeast to Tillamook, where you'll find shopping, dining, and entertainment options.



This one-level home's classic interior (which is a little over 2,000 square feet) is both cozy and familiar. Kick off your shoes and gather for some group entertainment in front of the wall-mounted TV in the living area. Flip through cable channels to find a favorite show, or pop in a DVD for an evening movie together. Between the generous sectional couch and two recliner chairs, there's plenty of seating for everyone. But TV isn't your only entertainment option - you'll also find board and card games, plus a small library of books and a CD player.



When the weather is good, head outside to play catch or toss horseshoes in the large, half-acre yard spread out over three lots. You could also pour a favorite beverage and sit on the large wooden deck, or enjoy a summer barbecue using the gas grill.



Speaking of dining, you'll find everything needed for home cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Serve up fresh Dungeness crab dip on its spacious countertops while waiting on the main course, then move over to the table when the entree is ready.

We love Cape Meares!

This home is ideally located close to the beach. The amenities are more than adequate. My only complaint is that the sheets in the master bedroom were scratchy and rough. Really? Softer sheets would certainly be appreciated.

So homey

We needed to get away from the city and COVID craziness and Cape Meares was perfect. The beach house is well equipped and feels like home. It’s also a very short walk to the beach. We would absolutely stay again!

Rented this home several times with great experiences had a problem with the door falling down from the wall of the ironing board this time and the carpets needed cleaning as noticed stains throughout but otherwise a nice place to stay

Spacious and cozy

Great property. Very cozy. One recommendation would be to swap out some of the extra bedding linens and add a few more pillows for sofa bed. We loved our stay and would love to stay again.

This is a great location with a short walk to the beach. Racoons will make a mess of the trash if your not diligent.

Clean house, great proximity to the beach

Great house for our family, with a less than 5 min walk to the beach- there is a short, steep path to the beach from the road so if you have a stroller you will need to carry it. Smooth check in process. The house was very clean when we arrived which was good for our crawling little one.

Perfect Retreat

The kitchen was very well stocked. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. The house was large with plenty of space inside for everyone to have a spot to relax. We enjoyed the large deck every day and the firepit every night. Bayocean is the perfect town to get away from it all. We enjoyed hiking the cape and beach combing for shells. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location, block away from awesome beach. Great for families--fully-stocked kitchen, lots of games, spacious house. Would stay again. Had to do some fix-it projects there (doorknob fell off a few times, coat rack fell off). Extra pull-out bed is in family room, NOT in a bedroom as shown in listing.

Hidden Community, quiet & awesome

Very nice location and house is very cozy and comfy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone: couples, families, solo get away, etc. very quiet and secluded, nice people walking around. The beach is 5 minutes from the house and it’s a gorgeous beach with not a lot of people. House has everything you need. Out dated yes, but it’s very comfortable.

my siblings and I came toTillamook for the ice cream and to spend time together - we like the house - spacious - the youngest was 70 - the floor coming in was very slippery - they ask you to take your shoes off so whatever the floor got cleaned with gets in your socks or on your feet not a nice feeling - also wen you first come in there is a musty order you get used to it - would we book this again? we all said we would
