Comfortable, clean and pretty view

This house is very comfortable and clean and well stocked. The view is quite nice and the soaking tub was a treat. The location is within convenient driving distance to both Oceanside and Tillamook. The only downside is no walkable access to the beach and no place to walk around at all except the streets of the little neighborhood. But Tunnel Beach is less than a 5 minute drive so location is still very nice for those who don’t mind driving.

Beautiful views!

The highlight of this property are the views -- almost every room has stunning views of the ocean. It was delightful to watch the sunsets from the living room. The beds were very, very comfortable! Our family is a range of body sizes, and all of us raved about how well we slept. The main living spaces are comfortable, if a little sparse. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans (we did lots of cooking), but a little disorganized. The major downside to this property: the beach isn't really walkable. It's better to drive, especially if you have young kids or pets. The other downside is there is no outdoor furniture to enjoy the two decks.

Comfortable house - great view and amenities

This was such a very comfortable and loved having access to the garage. Nice quiet neighborhood. Views from the house bedrooms toward the beach rocks were really pretty and got some great sunset photos from here. Glad for the washer/dryer and soaps were plentiful.

Holiday Home

We had the fortune of staying at this home over the Thanksgiving holiday. When planning a trip like ours, renting a home can be a wildcard. Is the location convenient? Will the kitchen be well appointed? Will there be enough space for everyone? Will the host be responsive if we have any issues? During our holiday weekend we found this home, perfectly located to explore many parts of the coast from Newport to Astoria. When it came time to prepare our holiday meals, the kitchen was more than a well appointed. In fact, there were doubles of many kitchen tools that we needed. As far as space goes, the home’s three bedrooms and three baths were more than perfect for our small group of three adults and two children. We originally planned to have two more adults join us. If they had, they would have easily joined without making the space feel too full. Finally when we had an issue with a guest bedroom light, the host and the owner were both responsive and gracious. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable home

We went for a weekend and loved our time in Stormwatcher. The house is well laid out, with spaces for gathering and affording alone time. The kitchen is extremely well stocked - they thought of everything you might need. The beds are comfortable and the views are spectacular. The neighborhood is very quiet and the cute town of Oceanside is moments away.

Great if you like living out of your suitcase

House was not clean, needs a really good deep clean. Furniture was very old, All the dressers and closet were full of old linens so there was no where to put your clothes in any of the rooms, dryer was broke so couldn’t use it. BBQ was a cheep charcoal grill said you needed code to get it out but was sitting in the garage. Light above bed downstairs came on randomly and woke us up through the night. Wasn’t very impressed in general I wouldn’t recommend it or stay again.

Wonderful weekend away

We enjoyed a too short stay in this lovely rental. All three bedrooms had very nice mattresses and linens with plenty of blankets. It was average of 36F outside and the heat in every room kept us very cozy. There were plenty of towels in all the bathrooms and also in the kitchen. Kitchen well stocked and everything in the house was very clean. Also very nice to be able to park in the garage out of the weather. The view is wonderful and the area super quiet. Would love to return in the future.
