The Space:

Wake up to stunning views, the sea breeze, and gentle sound of the surf from an ideal vantage point in Oceanside, high upon the cliff above the shore. A cozy beach house with a feeling of privacy and two decks offering lookouts for spotting sea lions and whales in the ocean far below - that's exactly what you'll find at the CrowsNest.



This house puts you within a leisurely walk down the local stairs from the golden sand at Oceanside Beach State Recreation Site just down the road, as well as a few cozy cafés nearby. If you're looking to explore, take a short drive north to Cape Meares to see the lighthouse and nature reserve. Stock up on groceries on your way through Tillamook, and be sure to stop at the iconic cheese factory.



With a reverse floor plan featuring an open living space and large windows looking out to sea, you'll be reminded constantly of your scenic surroundings while you relax indoors. Nestle in with a good book, or step out on the deck with your binoculars and look for the resident bald eagles (the lower deck offers refuge from the wind). Gather in the fully equipped kitchen to talk while you whip up your favorite meals, or use the free WiFi to try a new recipe. At the end of the day, retire to your cozy bedrooms with their private bathrooms and kick off your socks, because the bathroom tiles are heated!

Great place but I couldn’t get the door locked to work. I think it was a low battery. I had no cell service so I had to drive out of the area to call the property management. Great views and a great place just to hide out and chill.

Very nice place with a great view. Very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!Could have used a few more dishwasher and laundry pods but other than that it was great. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

What a wonderful place to get away and relax. The views and location are outstanding. We loved falling asleep listening to the ocean and enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck watching the surf. The house is cozy yet a perfect size for 4 people. It's clean and up to date with nice touches everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Cozy Coastal Cottage!

This cottage was a perfect getaway! Situated on a hillside that overlooked a wide swath of the beach, it was pure delight. The home was nicely appointed and very cozy. Our 4-night stay was wonderful and close to many small towns we had planned to explore. We loved going through the tunnel on the beach, rock-hounding, and eating seafood at the local restaurants. When dining in, we found all the dishes and utensils that we needed. Thank you for sharing your home. We will return!

Crow Cabin

Positive…. The view is amazing from both floors/ decks!!! Very nice kitchen, made cooking our meals and my wife baking cookies awesome, bed was comfy, proximity to the beaches excellent, house was cleaned to expectation…. Negative no cable television, internet did not work Vacasa did have a free version that we were able to use….. overall we had a really nice stay!

Cozy Place with a Great View

I love the location of this place. It has a great view and is a quick walk to the ocean. I love the open layout of the main floor. The kitchen is also stocked with a lot of cook ware. I will definitely be going back to this place!

Perfect

A little difficult to locate and no cell service was a challenge. But once located, we were very satisfied. The view was spectacular. Everything we needed (except coffee) was there and the property was relatively clean. (There was a hair and spot on the sheet). Would definitely stay there again. Wish it had been longer.

amazing views and home

The home has the best view of the ocean, and perfectly for watching in the evenings or having coffee in the morning. the home is clean and comfortable, we appreciate the keurig coffee maker (no trying to figure out how to work those old fashioned coffee pots) the bedrooms have their own private bathrooms with shower. the walk to beach was downhill but walk back a bit uphill but only a few minutes and nice. this was our second time staying in this home, and would definitely come back just for this beautiful home and it’s location. the treasure chest and a box of little toys was a nice and appreciated surprise for our daughter

Crows Nest

The views from the Crows Nest were fabulous and access to the beach was just a short walk away. We didn’t mind the walk back up the hill to the house. It was worth it for the view. The kitchen was well supplied with the pots and pans and etc. for cooking but bring basic cooking ingredients such as olive oil, coffee/tea and groceries since the main stores are about a 20 min drive away. The house is small but fine for a couple or two. Beds were comfortable. The only negative was communication with Vacasa , the management company. The TV didn’t work nor the internet and we never heard back from them. The house was very clean so that was a plus for Vacasa. We liked the art work and special touches. Even though the house didn’t have a gas fireplace the electric fireplace kept the place cozy and warm. The convection heating and heated floors were wonderful during winter months. We will definitely rent the Crowsnest again.

It was the perfect place, we watched the ocean all day and night. So lucky to have a spot on Agate Beach too! So many fun objects in the house to look at as well! We bought our Dungeness Crab and ate them there with the best view!

Amazing stay

The property is very clean. Easy access to beach. You definitely get in a good workout on the walk to and from. It’s very windy here, so be sure to bring a windbreaker. Shorts and sweatshirts were the norm. Easy communication with property manager for a plumbing issue that was resolved in a timely manner. Would come back here without hesitation. It’s one of those places you never want to leave.

Ocean view from living room was fantastic. But the floor was not completely cleaned so it was sandy. And there was not a table on the deck so it was unconvenient.

Views for as far as the eye can see

The property was very clean and accurately represented in the photographs. When they say parking is tight, they mean it. We had a pickup truck and a small car - it was a tight squeeze. The views from both decks are amazing. It stormed while we were there and it was lovely to cook a great meal in the well equipped kitchen and enjoy watching the waves from the dining table. There was an easy walk to the beach. If you go during winter months make sure you wear boots if you are going through the tunnel to access tunnel beach as there is a lot of puddling. Overall, we had a great time and would love to do it again.

Great Location

Fantastic winter ocean views and quiet neighborhood make this rental so relaxing. The surf was high, so beach walks were tricky but seeing the ocean from the living room was amazing. Highly recommend.
