The Space:

How about a vacation to Rockaway Beach? This oceanfront home boasts ocean views, a dog-friendly attitude, and entertainment for up to 10 guests to have a great time!



Located right by Twin Rocks State Park just south of the heart of town, you'll have beach access an easy walk away and all the conveniences you could want with a short drive.



The house has a comfortable atmosphere where everyone will feel at home right away. A living area offers a variety of furniture, an ocean view out the windows, reading lamps, a wood stove for warmth, and a flatscreen TV with a Blu-ray/DVD player (cable and WiFi included).



Across the room is a full kitchen, equipped with everything you need for cooking, seats for four at the breakfast bar, and a dining table that seats six. Outside is a deck with a charcoal grill, three patio tables, and enough chairs for everyone to eat while admiring the ocean view. A patio down below has a picnic table, as well.



A second kitchen on the ground level has all the essentials plus a dishwasher, mixer, blender, coffeemaker, and waffle iron. Three can fit at a table for tea or cards, and a nearby private washer/dryer will take care of laundry.



Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms allow up to 10 guests to stay here comfortably. Two rooms upstairs each have a queen bed while the room downstairs offers both a queen bed and a twin. More guests will find space in the den, which features a twin-over-full bunk bed, as well as a flatscreen TV, and a cozy wood stove. The garage nearby has a full-size Ping-Pong table.



Feel free to bring your furry friends along to the beach, because this house is dog-friendly (please note a two-dog limit and a small, nightly pet fee).



This house is perfect for a couple of families, a group of friends, or one large family - days on the beach playing games and sunset strolls are easy when the sand is right there! You might spend the day on Lake Lytle paddling around in a kayak, or make a trip to the Tillamook Cheese Factory one day for a tour and ice cream.

The place is dated but compared to what you get out of this location it is totally worth it! My bestie, our kids and the pup all had an amazing weekend getaway over Veterans weekend. The space was absolutely perfect. It was clean and had every amenity we could possibly need. Fully stocked kitchen and appliances for cooking our own meals and doing laundry. The beach access and privacy is unbeatable! My only suggestion to the homeowner would be to update the kitchen faucet and shower fixtures as they gotta be circa 1980 and don’t work great. We will definitely be back! Kids are already asking for this to be an annual tradition.

The entire house was exceptionally clean. The only thing really needing attention is the downstairs bathroom toilet seat is cracked and needs to be replaced. A few trivets for hit items would be helpful as well. Otherwise, this was a perfect house for our family for the weelwnd, and friends who came visit for the day. The view is great. There is a small stream, knee high, to cross if you use the path at the end of Strand St, but you can walk further north on Pacific St and get to the beach without wading.

Gorgous views. Stocked kitchen. Lots of space. Enjoyed the pingpong table.very clean. Appreciate that dog is welcome. Drip coffee maker. Upper bunk felt too wobbly for teens. They opted for couch.

The house was great. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean with fresh sheets and towels. The living area had plenty of seating. The kitchen was a little “tired” but it had everything we needed. The entry without carpet was very useful , as were the washer and dryer. We used the hose outside several times a day on the dog and kids. The view from the living room and deck was lovely. The location was perfect for walking to the beach with little kids. It was just a few minutes drive to “downtown” Rockaway Beach. Cons: steep stairs to pack all the food supplies, suitcases etc. to the upper level. Some of the games had missing pieces.

Perfect for a large family!

Perfect home and beautiful view! Our two grown kids and their families enjoyed the beach for a mini getaway for my birthday. We had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table when they weren’t enjoying the beach and views. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Comfortable beds and lots of extra blankets. I have nothing negative to say about this home. We are hoping to make this a tradition and would absolutely stay here! Thank you!

A very good option for a large company

Thank you so much! We had a wonderful time staying here with our large group. The house was cozy and convenient for everyone. It’s spacious, with two kitchens on the first and second floors, meaning two refrigerators—a great setup for bigger groups. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The house was very clean and well-stocked with plenty of extra towels, blankets, and throws. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the stunning ocean view from the deck and appreciated having a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking. We would gladly come back again!

Great Location, Great View, Great Stay

This house was a perfect setting for a long weekend at the beach. There is adequate room for 10 people to sleep as well as additional yard space for friends to day-visit. The proximity to the beach was excellent. The view from the living room was lovely - looking out at Twin Rocks.

Happy Place

The property was perfect no problems at all!! The views from the balcony were awesome!! The house was so easy to just relax and feel like you were at home! Management checked in via text frequently which was great I knew if there was a problem they would be on it!! Thank you for a great vacation!

Great location and price

The location of the house is perfect and fit us very nicely. A few things would have been helpful . Some window cleaner and a squeegee so we could enjoy the view more. A working washing machine. Some extra toilet paper. One of the two coffee pots is not functioning, carafe is wrong for the pot, and should be removed. It caused a big mess on day one. I will put a note on it and leave it on the counter. Mike repaired the sliding door track somewhat, but it should be cleaned and sprayed. When we used the oven the smoke alarms went off several times. A few more hangers for towels and jackets would also be terrific.

Best House in Rockaway

We've been staying at this house a few times a year for several years now and it is just the best house in Rockaway to stay in and easy beach access if you have pets. Has everything you could need to cook with and plenty of porch room for pets to chill out of the sun on.. Until next time :)

Beach Vacation

The house has a great view of the beach and it is a very short walk to the beautiful beach. The house was very comfortable but it does need a couple of upgrades. The frying pans are in very poor condition,. We bought a couple because we didn't want to use what was provided. Also the burners on the kitchen stove need to be replaced. The rest of the house was great. We loved the location.

Peaceful Retreat

Comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed ocean views and being 4 minutes from beach and waves. Although sone guests have commented on age of home we found it cozy. Experienced a power outage (entire city) this did not impact us. Had the wood stove going which kept the house warm. Will definitely be back hopefully in January!

Ocean view

The view was great. The house was comfortable and mostly well equipped but some things did not work. A burner on the upstairs stove doesn’t work; we couldn’t open half of the sliding doors; we had to buy basics like dish washer and laundry soap; the controls on the blinds in an upstairs bedroom did not work. But these were little things. All in all we had a great time.

We had the beach to ourselves

Our family loved this home, and this area of Rockaway beach! No crowds. Long beach walks in both directions. The deck is awesome. Plenty of space to spread out. Would definitely recommend and return.

Quiet getaway with a view

The house was clean and had a great view. Very easy access to the beach. Only cons were that the downstairs beds were not very comfortable and the housekeeping staff was shorthanded which delayed check in by 2 hours. If some trees and brush along the beach line could be cut down shorter would improve the overall view. There were plenty of items in the kitchen to cook any meal. It was also nice to have several tables and chairs out on the balcony and plenty of seating indoors also.

Comfy Tein Rocks home

House was comfy and clean . Nice view of the Twin Rocks. Kitchen was well stocked and house had plenty of blankets towels and pillows . Beds were comfortable. Big machinery next door clearing out the next door lot during our visit. It wasn’t bad as they were only working a few hours a day.

Enjoyed our time. Walks and the beach, is justa few steps away. Only real complaint is the stove in the main kitchen is awful, some burners don't work, oven doesn't get to temp and dirty. Needs replaced

Great location.

The location was great. The space is perfect for a large group. As has been noted, the home is dated. A few simple improvements that would cost very little would help immensely: There are tons of kitchen tools. Most of them junk. Buy a good spatula for flipping pancakes. The electric hand mixer does not work. Replace it. Hang a floor length mirror in the master bedroom. With lots of people and only 2 bathrooms, it would be helpful to be able to get ready in the bedroom. Provide 4-6 sticks for roasting marshmallows since beach bonfires are a favorite activity.

Nice location, But cleanliness, safety issues

This was a perfect location, great view of ocean and easy access good space for large family..,But not well cleaned. Tortilla chip pieces on floor and eatables in bedrooms and living room, countertops sticky, drips down cabinets. We vacuumed and wiped down all surfaces upon arriving. ***Safety issues. Major loose carpet at top of steps. ** serious need of handi man thorough assessment…we tightened the toilet seat so our 4 yr old wouldn’t slip; the shower faucet was about to fall off, we tightened it; the sink faucet handle was irreparable; the shower towel rack fell off the wall; the water line to the washing machine was dripping, we turned it off. This could be a superb property but I would not recommend it or go back until I was assured these issues have been addressed.

Great location and views (could use some updates)

The rental home was as described and in a perfect and quiet location. Hardly anyone on beach the entire week this making it feel as it was all to ourselves. Many amenities as described however there were a few items that could be seriously updated … some light bulbs burned out or not operating, especially outside downstairs (none), one fixture in upstairs bedroom was very loose and as if it weee hanging by wires. Some drawers off or not able to open at all. The garage door would not close…kept going back up. Had to push up on track as it closed to have it close for good. May sound as if we are complaining but we are not. Family of five (plus one day friends visited) and it was really a great place. We dealt with it but others may not like those small things out of place. Lastly we apologize for the broken retractable ping pong net. Accidentally bumped into it and it broke from the base. We can pay for new one if needed. All in all we would stay here again….
