Hanalei Plantation Villa is a short 10-minute walk from the 1 Hotel beach or 5 min drive to Hanalei Bay.

Hanalei Plantation Villa features a spacious, open-concept design that blends indoor and outdoor living to highlight Kauai’s breathtaking mountain and waterfall views. The upper-level living areas open to the tropical surroundings, while the lower level offers an additional lounge space perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The fully equipped kitchen includes bar seating, ideal for gathering and casual dining.

Each of the three main bedrooms opens to a private lanai, inviting guests to enjoy the cooling trade winds and the sounds of island life. The bathrooms offer spa-like amenities, including deep soaking tubs, dual-head walk-in showers, and an open-air shower surrounded by lush greenery. The fourth bedroom serves as a peaceful yoga and meditation studio, filled with natural light and fresh air. Please note that this room does not have air conditioning or window coverings.

Set on nearly an acre of beautifully landscaped grounds, Hanalei Plantation Villa overlooks the waterfall-draped Hanalei Mountains, Hanalei Bay, and the iconic Bali Hai sunsets. Outdoor living is elevated with a stunning infinity pool, hot tub, and sun-drenched lounge area. Expansive covered lanais feature multiple seating areas, a dining space, and a full outdoor kitchen with a grill, sink, and refrigerator, perfect for entertaining or quiet evenings at home.

Guests enjoy close access to Kauai’s most beloved attractions, including Puʻu Poa Beach at the St. Regis Princeville, Hideaways Beach, Queen’s Bath, and the Princeville Makai Golf Club. A short drive leads to Hanalei town, where you’ll find boutique shopping, dining, and opportunities for surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, zip-lining, and helicopter tours.

Three bedrooms at Hanalei Plantation Villa feature air conditioning. The fourth bedroom and all common areas are cooled by ceiling fans and sliding doors that invite in the ocean breeze. Please note that the trade winds may occasionally calm for a few days, especially between June and September. The pool is not heated, and the garage is reserved for owner use.

For peace of mind, exterior security cameras are in place. After your stay at Hanalei Plantation Villa, you’ll fully understand the meaning of its name, a peaceful sea and sky.

“‘Feel all right’ with Bob, Tupac and Jim on this secret island paradise.”When we arrived, our concierge graciously greeted us and showed us around this HUGE multiple floored house. The photos do not depict just how spacious this place really is. From the outside wrap around patios that enshroud this private huge villa, to the quiet bedrooms on both floors, not to mention the gym on the ground floor, this place has everything you need. I still miss the breathtaking views of the mountains of Hanalei and watching the sun burn around the horizon. The pool was a welcome reprieve after being on the beach. The spa was great as well. The jets weren’t working when we arrived but we found we didn’t actually need them as it heated up quite nicely. My partner enjoyed the sauna shower and I couldn’t believe the little outdoor shower area and the secret outdoor meditation yoga spot near the Buddha. The Nescafé machine was a huge bonus with fully stocked pods for different coffee palates. The kitchen was large and the stove, fridge and Ninja blender (yes! Ninja blender!) were easy to use. It was just a dream place to stay. What a lucky find this villa was! RIP Bob, Tupac and Jim…until the music’s over!

85th birthday celebration!

Celebrated my husband's birthday with our daughters and family. The house and location are beautiful. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, nice bedrooms, lovely pool area and surrounding greenery. North shore Kauai is a favorite place and it was nice to share it with family. Yen, the property manager, is great. She is very nice and very responsive to any questions or requests. Nearby Hanalei is pretty and laid back and what we imagine Hawaii should be. It has great restaurants, the best being BarAcuda.

This past visit was our second stay in this home. Rest and relaxation are the only vibe radiating from this exquisite casa. It’s not too far from sun, sand & surf. Property manager was easy to reach and directed us to some great spots to eat. We are already planning our next visit.

Unique, private, relaxing - we loved our stay here. The house is immaculate, very spacious, and comfortable. Very close to restaurants, Hanalei Bay, and a short drive to the amazing Tunnels beach. Paradise Delivered

Our family of four spent a relaxing peaceful week at this home. We desired privacy and got it- the only building seen from inside the home was a small portion of a house through the tree tops. There was plenty of space for the four of us to have alone time and togetherness. The air conditioning in the bed rooms was perfect at night, with trade winds keeping the main parts of the home cooled off most of the day. House manager Yen was lovely and helped orient us to the home with texted and printed instructions. She was very responsive to questions during our stay. We would return!

Incredible Vacation!

It was perfect. The house was amazing. Perfect size house for 3 couples. We went with our adult children and their friends. Pool and grill area were ideal places to hang out after checking out Hanalei or waiting out some rain. Lots of privacy. Incredible views throughout home. High end furnishings. Fully stocked kitchen. Our property manager Yen was super helpful and on top of everything. She was even able to get us a reservation at a nice restaurant during Christmas week on short notice. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this house and vacation. Best house we have ever rented. We Hope to come back soon!

Magical Week in Kauai

This property was amazing-actually better than the photographs depicted and I thought the photographs were amazing. Rental process was easy, check in was very efficient and we greatly appreciated being able to check in a little earlier- Diana was great introducing us to the property. The home condition was exceptional. Each bedroom had its own unique features. The decking around the house in the back overlooked a gorgeous jungle canopy with the Napali peaks and ocean beyond. Only one house visible in the vista. Everything functioned well in the house. The pool and hot tub and outdoor grilling area with adjacent sauna was a favorite spot! Very quiet neighborhood except for the occasional roosters! Amazing and ever-changing views both inland and toward the coast depending on cloud cover. Very close to grocery store and restaurants. The Andy Irons surfing memorabilia was an awesome touch to the decor of the entranceway. Can’t say enough good things about this place. The only suggestion I could make would be to increase the number of drinking glasses and stemware- there wasn’t enough for six people. The group consisted of me and my wife and our two adult sons and their girlfriends. Because of the pandemic and the fact that our sons live far away from us, we had not gotten together in quite a while. The week was magical-stunning hiking,beach, kayaking and local experiences every day followed by returning to this exceptional house. A memory that we will never forget -every day was a grand experience.

Would Stay Here Again

If my family ever returns to Kauai, I'm sure they will want to come back to this property. The pool/spa were pristine and extremely well-maintained. Even though it is a chlorine pool, I never smelled the chemicals - perfect balance. The cleaning team went above and beyond. On our last day we finished an extremely difficult jigsaw puzzle - only to find that the last piece was missing! The cleaning team found the missing piece and sent it to us. In the process of searching for the piece, we realized how clean the property was.

Breathtaking Home on a Breathtaking Island

My wife and I took 10 family members on "the trip of a lifetime" to Kauai, and because of our number, we had to stay in two different homes for the first four nights of our stay. Both houses that we booked were wonderful properties, but we gave our adult children and oldest grandson the "better house." We got to walk through it when we checked them into the house, and although we expected to see a stunning property (based on the pictures of it on this site), we were still blown away by its magnificence! There were many "oohs" and "aahs" as we all walked around, being shown the property by the Property Manager, Yen Upson (more on her in a bit). Spacious, modern, comfortable, secure (gated entry) and amazingly beautiful (with stunning views to match!), this incredible house offers visitors to the Garden Island everything that one could ever hope for, in making a visit here a memorable one. It checks off ALL of the boxes! And although my wife and I didn't sleep here, our children and grandson assured us that they all slept in peaceful tranquility, on super comfy beds, with windows open, overlooking the scenic landscape......never hearing a sound from any neighboring property. Adding to its allure, you are greeted and made welcome by one of the sweetest ladies that I have ever met: Yen Upson. Kind, gracious, informative and extremely helpful, Yen is not your typical Property Manager. She is, indeed, on a par with the house, itself! She was not only attentive to all of our needs, but even went so far as to secure a reservation at the leading restaurant in Hanalei for all 10 of us! And was able to do so on very short notice! I didn't even have to ask! All that I had to do was make mention of my failure to obtain reservations, even though I had tried a month in advance, and she told me that she knew the owner and would arrange everything! Wow! It sure does help to know people who have connections! Lol! We had managed to secure a house that could handle all 10 of us after our first four nights on the island, and although it was a very nice house in its own right, it really paled in comparison to Laulea Kailani Villa. Our children and grandson couldn't stop talking about it for the remainder of our vacation, and had my wife and I hoping and praying that we might be able to visit Kauai one last time, just so that WE might be able to stay here, one day! :-) Do yourselves a favor and nab this stunning property, if it is available when you visit!

Paradise in Princeviile

From the moment we asked in to the home in Princeville we were delighted! A wonderfulWelcome gift and to a home Ready for our week. It was clean and well supplied, including beach chairs, cooler and sand toys to wonderfully complete supplies for the kitchen or to enjoy grilling by the wonderful pool and spa! The only disappointment Was the challenges of the road to Hanalei being under construction and you needed to plan around that, not ideal but workable. This is a dream home and hope to come back one day

Restort Style Luxury w/Amazing Views

This home is so well designed that it felt like we were staying at a 5 star resort. The property is gorgeous both inside and out. The views were gorgeous and the neighborhood private, quiet & peaceful. We absolutely enjoyed the steam room, hot tub, and pool and made sure to take advantage of it every day during our stay. The outdoor dining/grill area easily accommodated our family and the mini fridge made it easy to stay at the pool all day long. We'd love to stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind.

Wonderful home and location

We loved this house and the views! Yen, the property manager, was a pleasure to work with and responded promptly to all of our questions and needs. When we arrived we were told the dryer had just stopped working and needed to be replaced. Yen offered to pick up our laundry and have it cleaned for us, which we didn’t need but was a very nice gesture. Lots of space to spread out and a fully equipped kitchen. Pool and hot tub were a great bonus. We enjoyed being close to Hanalei and Princeville and the beauty of the north side. The only improvement we’d suggest is updating some of the furnishings and keeping the windows clean for enjoying those incredible views. The house is beautiful but showing its age just a bit. Overall this didn’t hinder our enjoyment of the place. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property

Stunning home with everything you need for the perfect Hawaiian vacation. The spa and pool were well maintained and afforded gorgeous views of Hanalei Bay and the mountains. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available to use. The furnishings and kitchen were well appointed. It was so cool to view the photograph of Andy Irons and the championship trophy of Bruce Irons. Stunning! Back to the outdoor living space - decks EVERWHERE with comfortable seating. We were luck to hear and see the resident wild boar along with beautiful birds. Hopeful to return next year!

What a great vacation! Perfect for our family. We used the pool almost everyday before starting our adventures and even after to cool off! Not far from the grocery store, Hanalei,farmers market, botanical gardens & loads of options for beaches. Trygve and Yen were very responsive with questions about the property. For all you ☕️coffee ❤️lovers there is a Keurig with pods or a coffee bean grinder if you bring some of your own favorite whole bean roast from home or find some different ones to try at Foodland like we did. Amazing selection of pots, platters and tools to cook and serve family style for all the chefs of the family. Thank you for the welcome treats! Amazing!

Amazing House

Simply put; this house is special. We had a wonderful stay exploring Kauai, then returning to the house to relax by the pool and watch the sunsets. It's a short drive to Hanalei to enjoy the beach or grab a meal, and the mornings on the lanai with a cup of coffee were the perfect way to start each day. It was very interesting learning about Bruce's career and the history of the Irons family in Kauai. The house is perfect for a family of 4 and we could not have enjoyed it more. It's even better than the pictures!

Best Decision!

Simply amazing! This house was stunning and included everything you could possibly think of. Pictures don't do this house justice! And THAT POOL! Seamless check-in and prompt responses not to mention the house was immaculate. The perfect place to stay for our first visit to Kauai - our paradise in paradise for a week. Tip: it was definitely worth hiring a car for this location! It did make exploring the island much easier.
