Escape to the White Mountains and slow down in our charming, cozy little cabin. While intimate in size, The Casita has the feel of a "Tiny Home" but is perfect for a relaxing getaway surrounded by tall pines. The Casita has a unique loft where a plush king size bed is for sleep & rest. There is a steep staircase to access the loft adding to the adventurous feel. Whether you are looking for a peaceful weekend in the mountains, a romantic escape, or a home base for outdoor adventures, our cabin offers a comfortable place to relax and recharge. Enjoy your morning coffee, spend the day exploring, then come home to cozy up and enjoy the peace of the mountains. Our Casita is perfect for couples or a small getaway!

Very cosy cabin with coffee, tea, popcorn and evrything one meeds including lots of throws and blankets, etc. We enjoyed this cabin casita very much.

Nice clean small cabin in a rural setting. Pet friendly. Lots of great hiking in the general area. Comfy bed in a sleeping loft. Small kitchen. Small bathroom. Good WiFi. Everything in good working order.

Be advised that this is a tiny space. While we were advised that the loft area had a low ceiling and would need to crawl to the bed, we were unable to get our dog up to the loft due to the stairs being extremely steep and difficult to go up. The bathroom is also very tight and was difficult to shower in. The interior was nice and clean and the host was kind and easy to communicate with. The property is close to lots of restaurants also.

We are deeply sorry to hear you had trouble with the loft and stairs going up. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to fix this due to the nature of the space. In response to this, however, we have added even more details describing the loft's set up, in hopes that future guests will be prepared :)

I am a physician assistant in surgical oncology. My family and I are from Michigan and moved to Tucson in 2022 to escape the gloom and cloud cover half the year (although Michigan summers on the Great Lakes are absolutely amazing). We soon realized how much we missed seasons and water, but knowing we could never move back, decided to purchase cabins in Lakeside to give our kids the childhood that we had, and give us the escape we needed within reach. We opted to make our cabins into rentals when we are not there to share the fun. We are new to hosting, but we are excited for this new adventure. We hope you enjoy our cabins as much as we do!
