We along with our dogs had an incredible stay. The cabin was perfect for us and our dogs. We are already planning our next stay. Thank you Chris for being so accommodating. We are so appreciative

The cabin was just as advertised. It had a Fenced yard that was perfect for my pets. The interior had everything we needed to be comfortable. I would certainly stay in theBear retreat again.

We stayed here for a long weekend and there was plenty of comfy space for 4 adults and 2 dogs. The back patio was big and so were the shared spaces in the home. As a person with back issues, I typically have some trouble with the beds at rentals but these were perfect! Very soft but still super supportive. The house was very clean (seems brand new) and the fence was great to have the dogs out with no worries (although openings maybe a little too big for escape artists smaller than 10lbs). The location was perfect for a relaxing quiet time in the trees but just mins away from groceries, shops and restaurants.

Dog lovers will find this cabin amazing. The large fenced yard is a definite plus. Another plus is it has refrigeration! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the afternoon rain that came through. The owners have included miscellaneous items to make your stay relaxed! The only negative is the stove is somewhat old and the pots and pans are are old and limited. We will definitely be staying here again. The host was the best the the best to deal with.

We just loved this home as we pulled up. Nice big fenced yard that surrounds the whole property. As pictured but more comfortable feeling than the pictures. Host was amazingly accommodating and if they have never lived there(or live there some times), I would be shocked. That's how it felt. Could easy sleep 3 couples. We will stay here again, next time we escape the "valley" heat. *note... our newest adopted dog, 26# Labordoodle mix 4yo decided he could fit through the small squares of fence and did*figured out that was a bad idea and showed up at the gate). Our smaller poodle wasn't interested in doing so. We just made sure we were watching when he(the develish one)was out.

This stay was a great experience. My wife and I will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future. We had no problem using the access code to the front door. Communication with the host was spot on. All the rooms were freshly painted; both bathrooms were really nice. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The living area was very spacious, and the kitchen had a lot of counter space. The backyard was nice and had a good size porch/deck with chairs and a table to relax. The property was located in a very quiet area, not a lot of traffic. The main drag White Mountain Blvd was just a few minutes away! The heating and cooling system was easy to use and worked great. The entire property was fenced in with a gate. Plenty of room to park 2 to 3 vehicles inside the yard if needed. New wooden countertops in the bathrooms along with new fixtures. Once again, this place was cozy, quiet, and very spacious. I would stay here again with no hesitation.
