—> This home was created out of a personal need we couldn’t find met elsewhere. As a family with an autistic grandson, we struggled to find vacation spaces that were truly sensory-aware & inclusive.
That experience led us to thoughtfully design a short-term rental with features meant to support comfort & regulation. We poured our hearts into the details, hoping to offer other families a place where they feel understood & welcomed.
We don’t claim to have thought of everything, but we have been intentional in creating a space rooted in empathy, understanding, and care.

There are owner closets in the home that are off limits and labeled with signs & locked doors. Please no tampering with these closets. Also, please no tampering with pool equipment. The rest of the house is yours to enjoy!!

Our house rules require that the guest who creates the booking be 25+ years old (unless otherwise approved in writing) & remain at the property for the duration of the stay.
Our pool maintenance comes every Monday & Thursday
Yard maintenance is every Monday (can change if weather permits & Winter hours is bi-weekly)
Trash pick-up day is every Monday & Thursday – no need to move bins.
Please be understanding and kind if they come by during your stay.
We are pet friendly - 2 pet max (unless another request has been authorized. adtl fees apply)
A pet fee of $150 will be applied. If you do not honor our pet policy, you will be fined $300.
** Please notify us with any concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance, or repairs. These concerns MUST be reported within three (3) hours of check-in. While we will make reasonable efforts to correct reported issues, refunds will not be issued for these matters & refunds will not be available for any concerns raised after this time.
We are a strict NO SMOKING or VAPING inside of home. If smoking outside, all cigarette butts must be fully cleaned up and disposed of properly. Failure to do so may result in an additional cleaning fee.
If you do not honor our policy, you will be fined $250.
We are not responsible for items left behind by guest. If you leave an item and want it shipped, we charge flat fee of $20 + shipping fees
Cancellation Policy & Travel Insurance
Natural disasters, weather events, illnesses, family emergencies, injuries, or any other unforeseen circumstances are not eligible for refunds after the cancellation window has closed. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase third-party travel insurance to protect their reservation, as Stillwater Rentals LLC does not provide refunds outside the cancellation policy for any reason.
Our home is professionally treated with regular pest control maintenance. While this greatly reduces the likelihood of insects, occasional ants or palmetto bugs (often mistaken for roaches) may still appear, particularly due to seasonal or weather conditions living in this area, which are beyond our control.
If you notice any pest activity during your stay, please notify us promptly so we can address it.
For the safety of our guests/property, We have doorbell camera at front door & 4 exterior security cameras/solar panels that are installed & may record video. Cameras are located at every corner of the house (pointing at front yard, sides of home, & backyard/pool area). These cameras are used solely for security & liability purposes. Cameras are not actively monitored & are not used to observe guests for leisure. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home. Wi-Fi routers & mesh extenders are located inside the house to provide strong reliable internet coverage.
The waterfall is currently turned off while we take care of a small piping adjustment. The pool remains fully functional & does not impact heating or use.
A rental agreement will be sent to your email after booking to comply with requirements. This must be agreed with & signed in order to get door code prior to stay.
