We are a multilingual family with four grown children and 5 young grandchildren! We have over 35 years of experience within the hospitality industry. We believe in crisp, clean and functional Airbnb’s. We pride ourselves in having stocked Locklies Innlet with everything you would need for a perfect stay. Our kitchen is brand new, the bathrooms and bedrooms have all been updated with hotel quality products of 5 ***** quality. The cottage is simple but pristinely clean and fresh. You will have a ball with the outdoor shower. It’s rustic but so much fun and definitely a favorite. Be prepared to feast on crabs and fish caught from the dock. We are fully stocked for a. Traditional Chesapeake Bay crab feast. Your sunrise and sunset views will be amazing! The wildlife is bountiful, and a birdwatchers Mecca. Bring your binoculars or use ours- you may catch a dolphin or two that has meandered up the creek. So much to see in the area - beeches, museums, art galleries, famous antique shops, you’ll never be bored. Don’t miss the running of the cobias, or the Urbana oyster festival. We have three restaurants walking distance from Locklies Innlet. Merroir Oyster tasting, Prime Mediterranean- steak and seafood, and our local diner The pilot House are here for your enjoyment. Can’t wait to host you - we will not disappoint.

Locklies Innlet is uniquely found on a peninsula overlooking the Rappahannock River and the Chesapeake Bay beyond. You can swim or fish. Right off our shoreline - (pack you water shoes) and be prepared for an adventure. Kayak right off the property in one of our four kayaks. Bald eagles, blue heron, osprey and egrets await you just to name a few. More duck species that you could imagine will charm your stay.

The kids enjoy the small beach while the adults catch dinner - our outdoor firepit is perfect to prepare your dinner, and roast marshmallows for smores at the end of the day. There is ample dockage for most boats of any size.
