Rustic Lakeside Vacation Rental with Beach Access in Vermilion, Ohio

This rustic lakeside vacation rental is located on the southern shore of Lake Erie in Vermilion, Ohio, and can accommodate two guests, up to four guests if children. The light and open-plan living area features a Queen-size bed. A small, full size futon bed is located in a partitioned area with a drapery covering the doorway. The second partitioned area is for luggage storage & a dressing area allowing for added privacy. (Think tiny house!) In the bright and modern full bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a walk-in shower. Freshly laundered linens and towels are provided by the host.



The futon bed doubles as comfortable seating space for daytime use and is ideal for reading and relaxing. Guests will also find a functional kitchenette, which comes with a sink, fridge, two burner electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. There’s an array of handy dishes and utensils for guests to use. Meals and drinks can be enjoyed at the dining table, which is located in the main room, next to the kitchenette. The cottage is air conditioned for the comfort of guests during warmer weather and has an electric space heater for chilly spring or fall evenings.



Outside, the waterfront backyard is shared with four other Cottages & the Beachfront House, which includes a sandy swimming beach, a patio with furniture, a barbecue and picnic area, and a shared outdoor Patio Kitchen with a gas range/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer & double bowl sink. In addition, guests will enjoy access to a communal gazebo, a fire pit, and a children’s playground to ensure all the family loves their stay in one of Plaz Vilka Beachfront Cottages in Vermilion, Ohio.



There are some fantastic facilities on offer at this property. Guests traveling by car will be pleased to know that there is plenty of parking available on the premises. Although each cottage has its own kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, & 2 burner cooktop; there is also a fully equipped shared outdoor patio kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave, and ample refrigerator/freezer space, for keeping food and drinks fresh.



All guests share a 110-foot sandy beach front, which is perfect for swimming and has its very own fire pit, and a sandstone deck for sunbathing and relaxing. Families with young children can take advantage of the property's play area, to keep the little ones entertained. As well as this, there is a communal terrace, with patio furniture, a gazebo, a grassy yard, and a picnic area, with outdoor grills.
