The Space:

Riverside Retreat is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for families, couples, and small groups. The home has an open main living area with a comfortable gathering space, gas fireplace, and full kitchen, making it easy to enjoy meals, conversation, games, and downtime together.

The large covered porch is one of the best places to start and end your day. Sip coffee in the morning, listen to the river, read a book, or relax after exploring the mountains.

Inside, the game room gives guests a fun place to enjoy poker, bumper pool, and foosball. After a day of hiking, fishing, skiing, sightseeing, or exploring nearby mountain towns, unwind in the private sauna or gather outside around the firepit under the stars.

Please note: The loft is an open sleeping area and does not have a door. It is a great space for kids, teens, or additional guests, but it is not a private bedroom.

Riverfront Setting:

One of the best parts of Riverside Retreat is the peaceful riverfront setting. The home sits along the East Fork of the Pigeon River, where guests can relax by the water, enjoy the sounds of the river, and take in the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Guests may fish along the riverfront area. A North Carolina fishing license is required for guests age 16 and older.

Please use caution near the river. Water levels can change after rain, rocks may be slippery, and children and pets should always be supervised near the water.

Outdoor Living:

Enjoy the slower pace of mountain life with plenty of outdoor space to relax.

Gather around the firepit in the evening, enjoy coffee on the porch, listen to the river, or simply take in the peaceful setting. This is the kind of place where you can unplug, breathe, and enjoy being surrounded by nature.

Firewood is not guaranteed, so guests may want to bring or purchase wood locally. Please follow all local burn bans and fire safety guidelines.

RV Parking Space Disclosure:

Please note: There is a separate RV parking space on the property/nearby area that may be occupied during your stay. The RV space is separate from the cabin rental and has its own designated parking and hookup area. Cabin guests will still have private use of the home, porch, firepit area, sauna, game room, and assigned guest spaces.

You may occasionally see another guest vehicle or RV nearby, but the cabin itself is not shared. Photos are included in the listing to show the RV site location and property layout for transparency.
