The home features air-conditioning throughout to keep you cool and comfortable, along with a fullly equipped kitchen and bathroom. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning, unwinding in the evening, or simply taking in the surrounding nature, this farmhouse offers a calm and comfortable retreat.

Finding the perfect place to stay for an event in the capital can be a challenge, but the Modern Toucan Farmhouse is a total gem. Recommended by a friend at the U.S. Embassy, this "Belmopan Escape" exceeded all expectations; the host’s directions made it incredibly easy to find, and the check-in was a breeze. The space is wonderfully comfortable with high-quality beds and ice-cold air conditioning that provides the perfect retreat after a busy day. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping them experience Belize in a relaxed, authentic way, whether they are here to explore, work remotely, or just enjoy the quiet.

Belmopan offers a balance that is hard to find. It is central, calm, and surrounded by nature, yet still close to restaurants, markets, and essential services. From here, you can easily explore all parts of Belize, from the coast to the jungles and inland adventures.

I chose this area because it feels safe, uncrowded, and grounded. You hear birds instead of traffic, and nights are peaceful. It is ideal for guests who want a more local experience while still being conveniently located for day trips across the country.
