This 2-bedroom one bath house (Duplex Home) is perfect for your escape to the warmth, Sunshine, and the cute little town of Ellenton. Inside, guests find one queen bed , one full, and a Futon twin bed, offering plenty of space to relax. Whether you want to unwind on your private waterfront deck, or stay comfortable, the heating and AC keep the atmosphere just right. A hair dryer,Iron, Washer and Dryer are also available for your convenience. This wonderful home invites guests to enjoy a peaceful and enchanting stay. Our home is centrally located near the Tampa and Sarasota airports, and the world renowned St. Pete and Siesta Key beaches. Restaurants are plentiful whether you like seafood, Steak, Thai, Japan, we have it all. There's also a pontoon that charters for your group right outside your back door, deck. We look forward to welcoming you to our place.

Glenn was a great and accommodating host! We were only there for a quick weekend but the location is amazing and we even caught a few fish in our down time! We were traveling back and forth to IMG academy and the route was surprisingly quick and easy to navigate.

The listing understates what you get! Besides the most amazingly helpful, courteous, and responsive host, you get ease of access to anything you might need or want. Close enough to walk yet not so close it bothers you, there is a riverside restaurant and tiki bar. Make sure to take some time in the morning to watch the abundant number of fish jumping in the waters in front of the property. There is also a beautiful Blue Heron that hangs out most of everyday. I will certainly be back if ever I am looking for accommodation in the area.

Wonderful stay!! We were greeted by the host upon arrival, and he made sure that we were taken care of and had everything that we needed for our stay.

Lovely water view, comfortable bed, TV in each room (we did not use), laundry facilities, and pet friendly. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Glenn was a great host. He was communicative and helpful. Oh, and my husband loved the shower and said it was the best of everywhere we have stayed.

What a great weekend get away! Convenient location for son’s baseball tournament at IMG. Quiet and great location. Host was easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at this property. Glenn is a very responsive host and easy to communicate with. This duplex has more of a cottage feel and is right on the Manatee River. The dock is accessible to guests and you can relax there and watch for dolphins or manatees (We didn’t see any this trip, but we know they are out there from past experience.)! The grounds and home are well maintained. We travelled with a dog and a cat so the fact that this was pet-friendly was important to us.

The rental was beautiful and we would book it anytime we were in town. I highly recommend this peaceful location. We seeen dolphins every day. The host was a great guy and the house was fully stocked. We loved it here!

Ideal location for a wedding at Bakers Ranch. Very clean, amazing views of the river, quiet at night, great communication with the owner. It has everything you need for a weekend visit to the area. Would definitely stay again!

The view was amazing home was clean and cute. kids enjoyed the kayaks .Glenn was helpful with anything we needed. We wished we couldn’t leave but we will definitely recommend to everyone we know and be back in the future

our stay at the house was excellent. great location for a concert we went to in Bradenton, and loved sitting on the deck both mornings and watching the sunrise over the bridge with a cup of coffee.

We enjoyed looking out over the water. We enjoyed the large dock. The house was so cute and very comfortable. Glen was so easy to reach with any questions. We are looking forward to going back real soon.

The only thing that was accurate was that the property next to the water. It is advertised as though you are staying in the "entire home". This is misleading, you're in a cramped, bug infested, smelly portion of a house that you share with the owner. I am surprised they are getting away with this disception.

This property was absolutely gorgeous and exceptional!! The host was kind, hospitable, had good communication with us, and offered every single freedom of the amenities available!! We appreciated that we had the autonomy to enjoy our stay, while still being respectful to his rules and expectations. The pontoon experience with Eric was a huge hit with our crew! We enjoyed every moment, from sunrise to sunset!! Great fishing, kayaking, accessible for all delivery services, uber, doordash etc. We enjoyed having a full kitchen and being able to cook whe we wanted and make our own drinks, however, we did not joy the convenience to the convention center, whiskey joes, and being able to uber anywhere we were interested in. I travel frequently and this booking was one of the best I’ve ever experienced!! Kudos to Glenn to being an exceptional host!!!

Otis (my pug) and I wanted to go on a staycation from Odessa Florida, to a house on the water while my husband was in class all week. When I was searching relentlessly for a place I finally stumbled upon Glenn’s home, which I’m glad I did. From the second I walked in, I could feel how clean the place is and having the air down already was so refreshing on a hot day. Check in was easy and I was immediately feeling comfortable like it was my home away from home. The view from the dock and the balcony was amazing, especially during the sunrise and sunset. The traffic from the bridge was muted, and it felt just so peaceful out there. His tv’s are nice and huge which I stayed in for during a few thunderstorms that rolled in, but when I was able to sit on the dock of the bay, I caught two fish! I’m sure there would have been more because the fish were biting like crazy! I bought frozen shrimp bait from a shop ten minutes away at a place called Carlton arms mart. They also had other frozen bait. Whiskey joes restaurant is a short walk from the house, maybe next time I’ll go but I didn’t want to leave the house :). The beds were comfortable and the time I spent at Glenn’s place was just so relaxing and memorable. (Let’s not forget how kind he was and very helpful and responsive if I needed anything!) I will definitely be back!!
