Welcome to the Topanga Cabin — a fully reimagined retreat in the Fernwood hills that redefines what a Topanga Canyon stay can be. Whether you're here to disconnect and recharge, work remotely in nature, or explore the canyon, this home delivers an unmatched combination of wellness amenities, privacy, and space for up to 6 guests.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
The primary suite is a true sanctuary — featuring canyon views, a walk-in closet, and a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom provides a comfortable, well-appointed guest room. The sunroom doubles as additional sleeping space with a queen sleeper sofa.
WELLNESS GYM (a true rarity):
A fully equipped private gym tucked within the home features a Peloton bike, Tempo full-body training system, and a full infrared sauna. Wake up, work out, sauna, and soak — all without leaving the property.
SPA BATHROOMS:
One bathroom features a deep soaking tub perfect for post-hike recovery or a quiet evening ritual. The primary ensuite features a walk-in shower.
SUNROOM OFFICE:
The light-filled sunroom features two dedicated workstations with high-speed Wi-Fi — a true dual remote work setup, ideal for couples or colleagues working on the road together.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the entire house — all rooms, the wellness gym, sauna, sunroom, kitchen, living areas, yard, and outdoor spaces.
Two designated parking spaces are available on the premises. Street parking in Topanga is limited and becomes very tight in some areas — please use the driveway spots provided.

Located in the Fernwood area of Topanga Canyon, one of Los Angeles's most beloved natural escapes, this cabin is nestled on a quiet hillside surrounded by Topanga State Park. The largest wildland within the boundaries of any U.S. city, the Park is accessible directly from the neighborhood on foot.
The classic neighborhood walking loop (Observation → Grand View → Sischo) starts just steps from the house. The Kerry Lane trailhead leads through oak woodland into Topanga State Park with sweeping panoramic views of the canyon and coast. Tuna Canyon, Red Rock, and Trippet Ranch trails are all a short drive away.
Topanga Village is home to beloved cafés, farm-to-table restaurants, and local shops — all within a short drive. Continue west on Topanga Canyon Blvd and you'll reach Pacific Coast Highway and Malibu's beaches in 15 minutes. Santa Monica is approximately 30 minutes east.
The canyon lifestyle here is unlike anything else in Los Angeles: quiet nights, wildlife-filled mornings, starry skies, and the constant soundtrack of rustling oak leaves and birdsong.
Getting Around:
GETTING HERE:
The drive up Topanga Canyon Blvd is scenic and winding — the natural decompression begins the moment you leave PCH or the 101. Roads in the neighborhood are narrow with blind curves; take your time and enjoy the canyon arrival experience.
ON FOOT: The neighborhood loop (Observation → Grand View → Sischo) is perfect for an easy morning walk. Kerry Lane trail leads into Topanga State Park with stunning panoramic views.
BY CAR:
• Malibu beaches & PCH: ~15 min west
• Santa Monica: ~30 min east
• Calabasas / US-101: ~15 min north
• Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): ~45 min southeast
A car is recommended — Topanga is wonderfully car-optional within the immediate neighborhood, but a vehicle opens up access to beaches, dining, and the broader canyon.

FAMILY & PETS:
We are a family-friendly home and welcome children ages 2 years old and above, who must be included as part of the total guest count.
Please note: this property does not accept pets of any kind.
To ensure the comfort of all guests and to accommodate those with allergies, animals are not permitted on the premises, including service or emotional support animals unless required by law. Any undisclosed pets may result in additional cleaning fees or cancellation of the reservation.

EXTRA GUESTS:
Guest count must not exceed the occupancy of the property. Keep in mind there is an added $100/night (plus booking fees & taxes) per guest for additional guests if approved. Any day guests must be approved prior to arrival. Day guests must leave by 10pm and are limited to a total of 4 guests. Children are considered as part of the total guest count.
VENDORS:
Please note that the home is serviced before and after every arrival and departure. During extended stays, our technicians service the exterior of the property on a regular basis to maintain our home and yard. They will not enter the home but need to access the backyard. Landscaping and gardening service is on an as-needed basis based on weather demands.
PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS!
We are in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please follow our County’s Good Neighbor Policy of no outside noise after 10pm and before 8am. Guests must refrain from any outdoor music, noise, or other disruptions that may cause a disturbance to the community during quiet hours. Failure to respect quiet hours may result in the cancellation of your reservation without a refund.
RESPECT:
There are strict county ordinances regarding excessive noise and light pollution after 10pm. Please respect our neighbors, and refrain from loud noises and outdoor music by 10pm. The home is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Removing the decibel monitor will result in a full security deposit loss and/or additional charges. Sink into the sounds of the canyon solitude, peaceful nights, and starry stars...
CHERISH:
Some of the things visitors to Los Angeles cherish the most are the abundance of wildlife and fauna. Cigarette butts, trash and food left on the ground can hurt our precious ecosystem.
CLEANING:
Health & safety is our number one priority. Our in-house cleaning team is trained on CDC and WHO protocols. We take extra measures to ensure the home is sanitized and safe before every arrival. For this reason, we aren’t able to offer early check-ins or late check-outs. Thank you for understanding!
PHOTOSHOOTS & VIDEOS:
If you’re interested in doing a photoshoot or video shoot for commercial/business use, please share the details of your project ahead of time. You MUST get approval beforehand! If approved, we have an additional fee for licensing and usage. Photoshoots for your personal social media accounts are welcomed!
WILDLIFE:
You’re surely guaranteed to encounter wildlife on your stay including families of lizards, insects, snakes, coyotes, and endangered kangaroo mice. Please use caution when outside, especially at night with any pets and children.
FIRE ZONE:
Our home is located in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone
(VHFHSZ), smoking is not permitted in any exterior of the property.
NO SMOKING:
No smoking or burning candles. This is a non-smoking home. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors at least 15 feet away from any exterior doors. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline.
BACKYARD FENCING:
While we do have fencing around the entire property, please always keep an eye on your pets and children. City critters don't find fencing to be a deterrent to them in our shared habitat.
EV CHARGER:
There is not an EV charger at the home, however, there is an EVgo Charger conveniently located at 22277 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas, CA 91302 which is a short drive away. There are also multiple public EV charging stations around town, which allows charging for up to 2 hours per day.
PARKING:
There are two parking spots available on premise. Street parking is tight as the roads become quite tight in Topanga Canyon. Please be sure to keep all cars parked in designated parking spots in order to avoid tickets, fines, and/or towing of vehicles.
