Awesome visit to Alta

Fabulous ski-in/ski-out for Snowbird

The condo is beautiful! Wonderful Mountain View, upscale appliances and furnishings, wood fireplace, super easy parking, and easy ski down to the Snowbird lifts and ski back at the end of the day. I wouldn’t describe it as ‘spacious’, however it is perfect for two, has plenty of storage, a full kitchen and a luxurious feel. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect Spot for Couples skiing Snowbird/Alta

Perfect studio apartment for 1-2 people skiing Alta & Snowbird. Easy check-in, and communication. Key highlights was the awesome kitchen, small but mighty! Murphy bed wasn't the comfiest but made it work for our stay. Overall, great value for the space and location and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay close to the slopes.

Ski trip

Great property on the mountain. Got dumped with snow but they do a great job of clearing the parking lot. Beautiful, clean, updated studio with a comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. Owner was quick to follow up with communication. Recommend!

Beautiful Ski in / Ski Out Property

The host was communicative and kind, the condo was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the location is unparalleled — a very short walk to the condo access run which drops you off at the Peruvian Lift at Snowbird. Would love to come back!!

Great Ski Condo at a Great Ski Resort

Great condo and perfect for my wife and I. Very clean with a lot of updates to the room with a great view. For skiers the best part was a free shuttle on call from 8 AM to 5PM to transport you from your condo to the Alta Base areas.

Alta ski vacation

The condo was located in an ideal location for a trip to Alta or Snowbird, easy shuttle to ski, with a wonderful ski back to the condo. The condo was clean, quiet and comfortable. The views out the front window of Mt Superior were spectacular!

Great Spot For Powder Fun

I enjoyed staying in this beautiful unit and cozying up near the fire after a hard day on the slopes. Great location and ample parking. I highly recommend this well appointed unit. Awesome view and easy access to and from the slopes. I recommend bringing plenty of food if you’d like to cook. The kitchen has plenty of utensils for that purpose and it’s easier than trying to go out to eat at night.

Alta/Snowbird perfect location

Ideal location, ski in / ski out. Perfect for a father-sone ski trip. 2 feet of snow / Interlodge one of the nights and we were first to the lifts in the morning. Would stay again.

Easy access to Alta

Cozy studio with close access to Snowbird (if the Peruvian bowl and chair are open) and a free shuttle away from Alta. We cooked most meals for the week and the unit has enough cooking tools for us to roast, fry, and boil everything we had in mind. In our being super close to the mountains, we skipped almost all of the traffic, but if they're blasting snow in the morning, we felt it.

High quality

All the interior finishes were very good quality and the layout is very well designed. Perfect place for a couple to stay. Ski locker downstairs was easy to use, and the building is very quiet, everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Getting to the base area and out to dinner at night was easy. Never waited more than 5 min for the Alta shuttle. Steve was very easy to communicate with and never had any issues.

Best place

This is such a comfortable, cozy place with an AMAZING view. It is a great place to hang out after a day of skiing. Getting to Snowbird and Alta is very easy. Steve the host is very responsive and accommodating. Everyone we encountered in the building was friendly and nice. I highly recommend this studio apt for skiing Alta and Snowbird. You will love it.

Nicely remodeled condo. Very well done and made the most out of small studio. Excellent access to peruvian and tram lifts. Ski all the way back to condo. Might be tight for more than 2 people.

The unit is exactly as advertised. Perfect location to get lots of turns in. East shuttle to get to Alta. Even easier to get to snowbird. Nice ski lockers.

Great spot for Snowbird/Alta

This is a great spot for anyone trying to ski Snowbird and Alta. It was so nice to avoid canyon traffic in the morning and afternoon. On the weekend we saved ourselves hours of sitting in traffic. The condo has everything two people need to be very comfortable. It is immaculate with high end finishings. Steve (owner) provided great communication about the condo and how to make the most of our trip. A tip for anyone considering staying here - if you are able to ski the Peruvian lift at Snowbird, you'll have no trouble skiing in and out at Snowbird. If that is a little too much for your ability, parking along the road near the Cliff Lodge is very easy.

I first came to Alta with a couple ski buddies for a weeks vacation in the mid-70's after graduating from college. We stayed a week in one of the lodges after which my buddies flew home to their families and jobs. I just couldn't leave so I got a job at the GMD lodge and stayed 5 years. Needless to say my parents were not happy I was ski bumming with a college degree they had paid for. Truth is Alta had gotten in my blood in 1 short week. When I eventually did leave I vowed to somehow try to return to Alta. After going back to school and then entering the real job world I met my future wife. I had to bring her to Alta to see if we were really compatible. She fell in love with Alta immediately and we eventually started coming to Blackjack Lodge on our ski vacations. We like to cook so the idea of having our own kitchen, fireplace and no schedule for meals was a no brainer. In 1998 a studio came up for sale and we bought it sight unseen. We have been enjoying this powder paradise ever since.

If you decide to come to Alta and stay at Blackjack I'm sure you won't be sorry. If you have any questions I will be glad to try to answer them, if I don't know the answer I'll find out for you.
