Beautifully furnished and spacious condo. It was a perfect vacation rental with views from every room. The beds were comfortable and the living area had a well equipped kitchen, nice living room and large dining table to make our vacation enjoyable in every aspect.

Wonderful 1st Visit

This was our first visit to Maui, and we had a great time with our three teenage kids! All the accommodations were great and just as described. The view was amazing and we loved walking out to beach to go snorkeling. Thank you for providing beach chairs, and the towel checkout was very easy.

Two weeks in Maui

The property is exactly as advertised. The view is magnificent and the property managers are there immediately if you call about anything.

Very Nice to find a property that's as good as the pictures!

We enjoyed Honua Kai and unit 929 is very nice. The only shortcoming we noted was that the kitchen did not seem well enough stocked with utensils, bowls, etc. for any serious cooking.

Magical

We had an amazing time. The condo is perfect, the view is incredible. The only thing I would change is better linens and comforters on beds and better pillows. Otherwise everything was amazing and the property manager Chris was very helpful and attentive to our questions. We will be back next year for sure!

Beautiful views

The views of the ocean are incredible! We stayed here in January 2024 and we saw so many whales it became normal to us after a couple of days. The sunsets were gorgeous and sitting on the huge balcony at any time of day was our favorite part. Oh, and opening the glass wall to make the family room spill out onto the balcony was amazing! Our family of 6 had more than enough space and truly enjoyed our stay. The unit is in need of a new refrigerator/freezer due to the freezer drawer being rusty and difficult to open and close and the ice maker not working, but that was the only thing we had an issue with. We would absolutely stay here again even without the needed new appliance.

Trip Saving Service!

I had had reservations for over 5 months at another property on Maui and received an email from the management company telling me that due to construction on a sea wall, my reservation had to be cancelled. I was 2 days away from arrival with another couple. It was a Sunday morning when I found this out and was distraught that I was not going to be able to find a comparable place to rent. I frantically sent out requests to different places on VRBO. Larry at Maui Resort Properties got right back to me with an offer on a unit in Honua Kai and managed to get the owner to adjust his minimum requirements for us and we booked it. We went from total panic to being taken care of and all worries behind us in a matter of a couple of hours. Then when we arrived, 45 minutes late, another great guy, Adam, greeted us in the lobby of the resort and took us through all the steps from parking to check in to getting us into the condo and showing us all of the in's and out's of the place. Then there was the unit! Beautiful and way beyond what we expected. This place is everything the pictures show and then some. Everything was perfect here, the two identical master bedrooms, great for two couples sharing a unit, the gourmet kitchen, the patio, the view, the amenities, the pool, the beach right in front and even a short walk to Duke's on the property. The only regret with this unit that you could have is if you don't rent it!

Amazing views and perfect location!

Nothing else to say except it was perfect. We wished we had more time on Maui to take advantage of hanging out at this resort. It was beautiful. We were go go go the entire time. So happy that the management supplied beach chairs and umbrella and cooler. What a life saver to have those. There were 8 of us and this was the perfect set up!

Fabulous Condo

Our family of eight (6 adults, 2 children) stayed in this unit for six nights and gives it 5 stars. The condo is quiet and spacious, the porch is great to sit on for meals, visiting, beach views and sunset. Two refrigerators is a plus. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The resort amenities are fantastic and the location is perfect. Having two Whaler's stores and a coffee shop on site is a definite plus. We had a fabulous time would definitely stay here again.

Amazing resort experience

Staying here was one of the highlights of our entire trip! We felt very welcome and relaxed in both the condo and the resort overall. This suite comfortably fit 7 people - 3 couples and 1 person on the sofa bed. The views were stunning from here as well, even better than the photos.

Clean, well located, comfortable, and well provided. The condo management process was a little confusing when the AC went out, but we figured it out and the management was responsive. Problem was fixed in a timely fashion. I would stay again.

Lovely place

It was so nice to be able to hear the ocean waves in the morning and as the last thing at night! The place was really nice and it was convienient with two kids under 3. My kids loved the ocean and we basically had the pool to ourselves. We cooked most of the meals at home and had mostly everything you would need. We bought the Hawaiian Spice mix from Foodland and used that on everything. The owner is super nice and we were super grateful that we were able to rent this place!
