Bay View is a very private waterfront cottage on the Rideau Canal in Chaffey’s Lock, offering peaceful lake views, protected waters, and a modern, open interior designed for relaxing family stays. Set on the quiet shores of Benson Lake, this property blends natural beauty with comfort and space.

Available May 15 through October and over Christmas. Full week bookings only.

The open-concept living area features a dramatic two-story vaulted ceiling and window wall overlooking the water through a canopy of trees. The interior is bright, airy, and ideal for gathering with family or simply enjoying the quiet.

Private Waterfront Setting

The Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, connects you to miles of scenic waterways, historic lock stations, and charming lakeside towns throughout the Rideau Lakes Region.

Ideal Location

Located near Highway 15, halfway between Toronto and Montreal, approximately 40 minutes from the Canada–US border and about 1 hour and 25 minutes from Ottawa. A peaceful waterfront cottage rental that remains easily accessible for extended families.
