Cozy 1-bedroom hideaway in Hill City, SD

Explore all Hill City and the Black Hills have to offer from this 1-bedroom hideaway, only 1 mile east of downtown Hill City. This cozy hideaway was just finished in December 2025 and is in the walk-out basement of a private residence. The owners live upstairs full time and are easily available. While this unit is new, the Stuckys own and operate Mountain Peaks Inn and Caboose Coffee Company in downtown Hill City, just 1 mile west of their home. Stay with us to receive coffee coupons and enjoy a beverage or breakfast burrito on us!

This newly finished one-bedroom suite is finished with knotty pine accents sleeps up to 4 guests on a king bed in the bedroom and a queen memory foam sofa sleeper in the living room. It also includes a full private bathroom with a bathtub / shower, mini-refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffeepot, tv with Roku Stick, and AC.

IMPORTANT POLICIES and INFORMATION
We accommodate NON-smokers only.
NO tobacco products, vapors, marijuana, or any illegal drugs/substances.
NO pets/animals.

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean, updated, comfortable, and cute. The location is perfect for exploring the Black Hills since Hill City is centrally located. Our hosts were very accommodating and super nice. We even got complimentary breakfasts at there local, popular coffee shop. We hope to come back for another stay.

Very clean and well set up space with quality furnishings and great lighting, especially in the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable, the stove/oven was a really nice full size flat top, etc. We loved making our own food in the well-stocked kitchen. Great central Black Hills location and only a couple minutes from the grocery store in Hill City. Due to allergies we really appreciated the no smoking and no pets policy. Lisa, the host, was so kind and hospitable! We were there to hike and relax and this was perfect!
