Great place to stay if you love the outdoors

25 mins from downtown Fredericksburg, you feel like you have the hill country to yourself. Great place with amazing views.

Wonderful relaxing time. The house was very comfortable. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife "show" every sunset. Communications with the owner, manager, and ranch forehand were all easy and friendly. Hope to stay there again!

We had a great time at the ranch. It had something for everyone. Just relaxing in the pool, driving around the property in the atv, watching sunrise and sunset on the deck. Also, Fredericksburg is close by and offers museums, shopping, winery’s and restaurants. All in all, it’s plan on booking again.

Great Property

This was our family’s second visit to this property and it didn’t disappoint. Love the animals, the pool, the house. Made for a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Easy drive to Fredericksburg. Will definitely be back!

Excellent communication with the host. Prompt replies to my questions and OMG, did I mention the Zebras? A beautiful ranch home tucked away in the hill country. The swimming pool was frosty and the beds comfy. You need to stay here and just bask in the quiet. My whole family loved it and we will be back again and again.

Overall great experience

Very thoughtful and well organized house with great experiences for little ones and older kids. Trekking in the Kubota to see all the wildlife was the highlight of the trip. Will definitely return.

This is an amazing place for a getaway in the TX Hill Country.

Our stay was outstanding. House was clean, spacious, comfortable. Property is dog friendly. A great place just to get away and relax in the TX Hill Country not far from quaint Fredericksburg. Rent the Kubota and scout the property. You will be enthralled at the exotic animals and the rugged terrain!

Wonderful ranch for a large crowd

We had a wonderful girls weekend celebrating my friend’s upcoming wedding. The decor and setting is uniquely Texas Hill Country and the home is well-stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching all the animals.

Great, Memorable Time

Home was beautifully decorated, fully furnished with everything needed, and extremely clean. Thoroughly enjoyed the shooting range, horseshoes, fire pit. Using Kobota was so much fun. Lots of animals to see. Just a great 3 days.

Hill country paradise

Beautiful high fence ranch. Lots of white tail, fallow and axis deer. Rams, zebras, and more. House was great and the pool was perfect for our four day getaway from Houston’s august heat. We had a blast. Awesome views, sunsets and we even had a lighting show. Overall a terrific place to visit.

Great home and location

The home was very clean and had all the accomodations you could need. The pool are was great and we all really enjoyed it. There were a couple small hitches, but the owners we fantastic about taking care of them. I really felt at home and enjoyed our stay. I would definitely come again! Thank you!

Perfect Weekend Retreat

Rancho Del Sol is a great get away from the hectic city. The house is comfortable and very well kept. The land is well maintained and very spacious. Do yourself a favor and rent the mule. Great way to experience this piece of heaven in its entirety. Will definitely be a return visitor if available. 5 stars plus.

Rancho Del Sol Rocks

Family Escape...✅

Our family needed some R&R after a busy show season of FFA livestock projects. This ranch was EXACTLY what our family needed. Everywhere you looked, the view was perfect peaceful. Renting the mule is a must as we got to see more wildlife, the zebras & enjoy the property even though it was cold & windy most of our stay March 2014. Thank you for being gracious hosts. We hope to visit again.

Relaxing

My husband and I stayed here for a much needed time of rest. This home is absolutely lovely and very peaceful. We were visited each morning and evening by all of the natural wildlife. It is quiet and secluded which was great for us. The pool was a hit with us as well since it has been so extremely hot this summer. Would love to come back with family when we get the chance. The drive to town isn’t to far if you feel the need to do some shopping or sight seeing! Great place!!

This is our second stay at this beautiful ranch. We took our dogs with us and they had so many enrichment activities joining us on our adventures, talking walks, exploring the property and discovering all the exotic animals. The swimming pool was the perfect way to cool off and relax on the hot summer days. The house was immaculate and had gorgeous Texas decor. The yard is fenced in and taken great care of. We loved sitting on the back porch watching all the animals. It was amazing to see the donkey being the leader coming to feed in back of the house followed by so many exotics. We will definitely plan future vacations here.
