This was a great place. If we come to Lynchburg again, we will very likely stay with Lori again. The woods being right outside the door, the generosity with food, and the amount of space all felt perfect.I really like places that are part of another person's home (as long as they're also separate apartments). I like to know I'm supporting a person and not a corporation with my money.

Great location and friendly host, but tight for a larger groupWe had a good stay overall while helping my brother pack up near the University of Lynchburg! The location was absolutely perfect for our needs. The host was incredibly friendly and made a consistent effort to communicate and check in on us during our stay, which we really appreciated. It was also a good setup for our dogs, though it's worth noting for future pet owners that there are two dogs living in the house of the back. While the property is listed as accommodating five people, we found it wasn't very comfortable for a group of our size (we were a family of five: myself, my husband, my parents, and my sister). It is probably best suited for just a couple. We weren't able to find the listed air mattress, so my sister ended up sleeping on a cot we found instead.Beautiful place and a wonderful host, just a bit tight for a larger family!

Thank you, Ashley — I’m glad our house location and communication were helpful during your stay. I appreciate your feedback and will work on the items you mentioned so future guests have a more comfortable experience; I've also ordered a new air mattress since mine is missing. I’d love to host you again if you return to Lynchburg.

Cute, secluded property that was close to all I wanted to do. The host was a good communicator. Just a note for those with mobility issues - access would be difficult. Great place, I’d recommend.
