Love the condo at Summit House! Very quiet neighborhood near Archer Rd. Will book again upon my return to Gainesville!

Walking into the apartment it looked great, calm and clean. Unfortunately issues soon arose. There are no drawers in the place so no way to properly unpack. Fine for a couple of days but I was there 11 days and would have liked to not be using my case. There was only 1 set of towels allocated per person. 1 hand and 1 bath and 1 kitchen towel. Fine for a couple of days just not enough for 11. I went out and bought more. I have stayed at Summit condominiums before and all has been well but this visit… the noise from the road was awful and the helicopters going to Shands were very load in this apartment. The air conditioner was also really loud, as in not being able to hear the tv over it and needing to put it off at night to sleep. All in all. Not somewhere I will return to , such a pity

I am sorry to learn that your stay did not go as expected. To clarify: 1) We provide one set of towels per person upon check-in. Since we are a short-term rental (and not a hotel) and cleaning and laundry are only charged once, guests are expected to use the laundry facilities on premises if they need more towels / linen. 2) Your booking was for 1 person but you had three guests staying. If you had booked for 3 guests we would have provided extra sets at no extra charges 3) For AC (HVAC) we suggest putting the unit on "auto" so it is not running constantly and still maintaining temperature. I believe you had the HVAC fan on constantly and found the humming sound unpleasant 4) There are some pros and cons of staying close to Shands Hospital - helicopter noise cannot be avoided.
