OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: * There are 3 flights of stairs from the driveway down to the house entrance. * We recommend using a 4-wheel drive vehicle due to the terrain. Driveway entrance is steep. Please plan accordingly. * Guests do not have access to the boat lift. While the covered boat slips are available for boat parking, the lift is reserved for the owner's boat. Guests may use the covered slip without the lift. • Blackstone Grill - Please follow all usage and cleaning instructions posted at the property. Cleaning the grill thoroughly after each use is essential to keep it in good condition for future guests. Proper care will help us continue offering this amenity to everyone. * The tram is a key feature of the property, and we want to ensure you’re comfortable using it. It must be turned on at the main control box at the start of your stay and turned off before departure. The tram takes approximately one minute to travel between the house and the dock and moves at a steady, comfortable pace. Please note the maximum weight limit is 625 lbs. A Ring camera monitors the tram area to help ensure that guidelines, including the weight limit, are being followed. * You may use the boat launch at the Marina. Guests can enter the home using convenient electronic keypads located at both the front and rear doors. Parking is available in the upper driveway, which can accommodate up to three vehicles. We recommend using a 4-wheel drive vehicle due to the driveway's steep terrain. Please plan accordingly. One 2-wheel drive vehicle may park across the street from the driveway entrance in an on-street parking spot. Additional parking is available at Twin Cove Marina in non-reserved spots. Twin Cove Marina also offers a $20 boat launch. They do not offer boat trailer parking. Due to the extremely steep terrain of driveway entrance, boat trailers should not be parked in driveway. We have secured boat trailer parking with a local lot just 0.3 miles from the marina, and 0.7 miles from the Heaven on Hiawatha lake house rental location. PLEASE NOTIFY US IF YOU ARE BRINGING A BOAT SO WE CAN RESERVE A SPOT AT THIS LOCATION. Please note: Access from the driveway to the house includes a few flights of stairs. Once you’re at the house, enjoy easy access to the dock via our stair-less tram system. The tram has a maximum weight capacity of 625 lbs—overloading it may disable the system, and there are no alternate stairs down to the dock or back up the hillside. Guests do not have access to boat lift. The owners have a boat parked in one slip, but there is an additional slip with for covered parking that has cleats and a rub rail. Guests will still need to bring their own buoys. You may also dock your boat rental along the side of the dock where the cleats and a rub rail are located. Owner is not liable for any damages to your boat when parked inside the boat slip. Host is available for communication during the stay, if needed. The neighbors are roughly 400 ft away on one side of the house, and roughly 200 ft away on the other side. The trees and wooded area between each provide great privacy for all! Very rural and undeveloped area in regards to business traffic and sounds. We do not provide life vests for swimming or boating, but they are available with boat rental at the marina that is 0.4 miles away.
