Welcome to Aspenwood Hytte on Lake Superior, a peaceful waterfront retreat where you can relax, recharge, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Located directly on the shores of Lake Superior and just minutes from Lutsen Mountain, this spacious townhome offers the perfect setting for a year-round North Shore getaway.

Air Conditioning: This townhome does not have air conditioning. Its location along Lake Superior provides refreshing lake breezes, but indoor temperatures may vary during warmer weather.

Check-In: Self check-in directly at the unit. Your door code and arrival instructions will be provided approximately 48 hours before check-in.

Guest Support: Host contact information is provided in the unit, and guests may reach out by phone, text, or email.

Important Information

Rental Agreement: A short registration form must be completed after booking and before check-in details are released.

Weather: Refunds or partial refunds are not provided for weather, environmental, or air-quality conditions, including snowstorms, icy roads, wildfire smoke, travel delays or cancellations, late arrivals, or early departures. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Best part of the property are the views from the master bedroom and the sounds of the waves crashing onshore.

Great townhome with plenty of room for two couples to move around. Having access to the garage was definitely a plus. Easy access at the end of the complex to the beach down a couple of pretty long flights of stairs. Also just be aware that yes it does have the beautiful lake superior view, but you can’t see the shore because you are right up against the edge of the cliff with lots of vegetation. But was still a very beautiful setting! We sat on the porch in the mornings and could hear the waves crashing. The only negative that I can say was there was no hairdryer. Maybe not a big deal to some people but over the years most VRBO have hairdryers so I never pack one and this one did not. Would have been nice with all the wet weather. Having said that, I would definitely stay here again!
