Small, cosy cottage "Glamaig". On the outskirts, 1 km from the centre of Portree, 1 km from the sea. Private: garden. Barbecue, public parking 30 m. Shop 1 km, supermarket 1400 km, bus stop "Portree High School" 600 m, ferry "Uig" 23 km. Golf course (18 hole) 22 km, sailing school 17 km, riding stable 17 km. Nearby attractions: The Aros Centre 1 km, Ashaig Beach 40 km, Isle of Raasay 26 km, Sleat Peninsula 50 km.
2-room cottage 40 m2, on the ground floor. Bright, simple and cosy furnishings: living room with satellite TV (flat screen), DVD and DVD collection available. 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed. Kitchen (4 hot plates, microwave, freezer) with dining table. Shower/WC. Heating. Facilities: washing machine. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed. TV only EN.

Everything we needed for a comfortable stay to explore Skye. Great welcome starter kit of some basics…bread, milk, butter, bacon, eggs, etc. Welcoming and knowledgeable host. Loved our stay and highly recommend the cottage.

Friendly and welcoming

This was a lovely property with great access to cafes and restaurants. A great place as a base for exploring Skye.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. They recommended we parked in their drive as the property has on street parking but is opposite a school which can get a bit busy on a morning. The property is in the owners garden, so they are on hand for any problems. The property is very well maintained and everything has been thought of - even down to a heated clothes rail. It has a microwave and an electric hob, but no oven. There are breakfast consumables provided and tea and coffee in case you don't have time to get to the shops when you arrive. There's also a good supply of tourist information, books and DVDs. It is a real home away from home! The property is a short walk from Portree town centre where there are shops, restaurants and tourist highlights. This is a great place to stay!
