Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 2-bedroom private house in Anchorage. Built before the Great Alaska earthquake in a unique design, recently fully remodeled. The home is hidden between the mountains and the inlet views. Just off the New Seward Hwy, close to many hikes (10 min), grocery stores and shops (5/10min), famous Potter Marsh (2 min), Alyeska Ski Resort & Nordic Spa (40 min). The charming bedrooms feature a Posturepedic king bed and an adjustable Setra queen bed, perfect for a restful night. Guests can unwind in the fantastic living room, which offers additional sleeping options with two pullout twin beds or a queen air mattress (upon request). The bathroom includes a jetted bathtub, adding a touch of relaxation to your visit. (There’s no walk-in shower). Washer and dryer is in the house. Also, enjoy the outdoor dining and fire pit in the warmer days. Please be aware of two steps from the living room into the kitchen and bedrooms. We look forward to welcoming you to Alaska at our place.

This house was perfect for our stay in Alaska. Communication with the host was excellent and they were exceptionally quick at answering any questions and meeting our needs. It feels like you are secluded but only minutes from town. The views from the many windows in this house make the stay even more enjoyable. Each room is round and very unique. We will always stay at this location when we come back to Alaska if it is available!!!

We enjoyed this VRBO. I missed in the description that it does NOT have a shower, only a bath. The house is super cute, clean, easy to access and in a great area. We were able to see a mama moose and her baby one morning. We also enjoyed all the snacks that were provided. Overall, would rent this house again, hands down. Thank you!

Beautiful home! I loved the unique design of the home. It was very comfortable. My only complaint was the shower wasn’t what I’m used to with the whole bathroom being the shower room. The jacuzzi tub was amazing though!

Very clean home and freshly remodeled. We really enjoyed our stay and the location is great. The one bathroom took the 4 of us a day or so to get used to but all of us would definitely book again. It is a unique set up but we all agreed that it adds to the charm of this home. Contacting our host was easy and quick responses were much appreciated. Thank you very much and we would all recommend this place for friends and family and really anyone who asks.

You need to be careful of random steps going to the bathroom. The shower/tub is not practical. But otherwise very clean and cute!
