Home furnishings were very comfortable. We loved the location and walk to beach was easy and short.Our family would stay again in this home.

Great location. Great place for a family or a group with multiple people. The bedroom layout is a bit funky, so be aware that two of the bedrooms are "jack and jill" with a shared bathroom. Also, it's an older rental house, so it has some signs of use, but nothing that bad. Overall we had a great time and would rent again.

We had a friends long weekend to the beach at the end of September. The living space was really nice. Lots of windows!! The large deck with the views was perfect and the number of bathrooms was wonderful for our large group. There are some things that should be taking care of....the dishwasher did not clean the dishes (ended up washing them the weekend), there was not enough glassware (we ended up at a thrift store to buy wine glasses and a few other glasses), the kitchen needs a good cleaning (especially the stove), and needs cutting boards. The furniture in the living area needs to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced.

The property is in a great location quick walk through the dunes to the beach and convenient to grocery, restaurants etc. . The layout is unusual but great space for an extended family. Parts of the home need some maintenance/upkeep which would have gotten our stay 5 stars- most simple stuff like light bulbs or a simple cabinet in a bathroom to store toiletries.. And the checkin process was received just 24 hours before, and had items had we known sooner, we would have brought with us- like a vacuum. We like to keep the place clean during our stay. Overall, we great stay … the living -dining- kitchen had open views to the dunes and skyline.

This was a great property for a large group. Lots of bathrooms which we appreciated. There is one room ( the twin bedroom) that you have to walk through to get to the other queen bedroom. I wished we had known this upfront as we had to switch and put a couple in the bunk bed room for their privacy which was not really ideal. Although this walk thru set up does make for a good "family suite" since they do share a bathroom. Overall it was a great trip and we enjoyed the house and location. I do wished there are been more seating on the deck. Our host addressed any questions we had promptly. There was an issue with no remotes for bedroom TV's, a broken sliding glass door handle and a broken garbage disposal but not a game changer. Good value for the price.

We had a wonderful family vacation. The walk to the beach was pretty gentle which was important as we had some family members with limited mobility. The beach itself was wonderful and very clean! Not crowded at all in Aug.James, our host, was very communicative and check in and check out was extremely easy and low maintenance!! This was greatly appreciated!!!!!The view from the living room and dining area is beautiful! We enjoyed watching a lightening storm over the water from the comfort of the living room. My family fought over the cozy reading ‘nook’.Two of the upstairs bedrooms are a ‘set’. The two twin bed and single queen room share a very small bathroom and you have to walk through the twin bedroom to the queen room. It worked for us, but this might helpful for others to know. The other bedrooms all have a (larger) bathroom to themselves and privacy.There were brooms, but I didn’t see a vacuum which would have been nice to help manage sand. The living room couch/chairs were functional, but not great. The coffee table was great for games and the dining table was very large for the family to gather. We also appreciated the pet friendliness of the rental. Our larger gentle dog had a wonderful time.The house is not as luxurious as the big surrounding houses, but for the price and value of beachfront property we were very happy!

Old Long Beach Island property with ground floor. Quaint, clean, well stocked with basics for the stay. Great view and right on the beach. we had a great time for our workcation. Great value for right on the beach and enough rooms to bring the family.
