Great training week in the mountains

We had a blast at the house for the long weekend while bike training in the surrounding mountains. House was accurate on the listing, very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable.

Lovely family vacation

Your house was such a lovely and relaxing getaway! The dock was so gorgeous and easy to access! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The outdoor furniture was really great all over as well as near a lovely fire-pit! Great job, thanks for having us!

Nice house

We enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was the owner had a boat in the main boat slip on the dock and didn’t respond to my question about getting it moved so we could use the space. Our boat would fit in the smaller Slip so we had to park it outside the dock in the uncovered area.

Great peaceful place

Racining with Cadillac brings me to some oustanding areas and race tracks around the country which can get hectic.. i enjoy being restful and being away from the track at the end of the race day so i tend to book a few miles away and cummute every morning and night. This house and location worked well for me.. excellent area with a beautiful setting right on the lake. The house itself was clean and very well maintained. Lots of seating areas weather inside or any of the decks and even had a nice fire pit and chairs to sit in.. Highly recommend this property.

Great stay!

Property was exactly as described, and the location on the lake was perfect. Not too busy with boats passing, quite peaceful and exactly what we were looking for. The only thing that I might mention is that the dock is a little further away than we thought, and the mostly uphill walk back to the house was a lot for my older father. Maybe not the ideal place for older folks but fine for most. The host responded immediately when I had a question. I highly recommend this place, even more so for those with kids, maybe careful for older folks without as much stamina. Thanks!

Better than the pictures!

I mean it when I say that this is in the top two rental homes I’ve stayed at. There wasn’t one thing that we thought, “Man, I wish they had…” and we didn’t find it ready and waiting. It was super clean, slept 10 people comfortably, and the dock and cove were top notch. Here are just a few little things that made a big difference for our two families (ages 4-46): Card games A room with a queen and two twin beds Knives in the kitchen that were actually sharp! Two types of coffee makers Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels and trash bags and dishwasher soap Plenty of regular towels! Two kayaks and several life jackets available for us to use And even more! Like I told our amazing hosts, if we didn’t already have plans elsewhere for next summer, we’d have already booked a return visit.

Peaceful and Fun!!!!

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay! The property was exactly as described and there was more than enough room to accommodate us. The lake was absolutely stunning and the amount of wildlife we saw was spectacular! The location of the property was so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the "boat house" immensely, as well as the porches. All of the beds were comfortable, and there was more than enough towels, etc. for everyone. We stayed a week, and therefore, had to wash beach towels, bathing towels, etc. and the one thing that I was very disappointed in was the washing machine and how EXTREMELY dirty it was. I had to literally scrub it out and run bleach and Lysol through it before it could even be used. There was a lot of built up fabric softener and dog hair in it. However, I will say that I am an extremely clean, neat and tidy person, so that may not be a big deal to anyone else. Other than that, I have no complaints! Would definitely recommend and book this property again!

Easter 2022

We have a wonderful time at your home.. The boys loved running down to the dock, and and going up-and-down stairs.. On Easter evening we had a marshmallow roast, I think that was the hit of the weekend. Thank you so much for a really wonderful place to stay and be with family.

Can't ask for any better place for fishing and quiet!

We had a blast! The house was great, well outfitted, and plenty of room for all. We caught a ton of spots! Quite a few just off the dock. It was a great time and a great place to stay!!

A Blessing

Our group found everything we needed for our three night stay. Plenty of room, linens, cookware, dinnerware, parking, and view for the 10 of us. The host was very accommodating. It was a great place to stay for the price. We will stay there again if it is available when we return to Dawsonville.

Amazing place

Property is exactly as described and worth your time! Owners are great to work with and figure out any issues very quickly. The lake view is great, loved this place more than our other rental in Helen,GA as I found that town to be insanely noisy and superficial compared to this area. This is a real getaway but still close to all amenities.

Beautiful Lakefront Retreat

Beautiful wooded setting with well maintained cabin and excellent amenities. My adult sons loved the lighted two story dock where we fished night and day. Also enjoyed the downstairs pool room, complete with cable television for the games. Excellent working kitchen with cooking supplies like it was your own home. All beds were comfortable and an unexpectedly elegant master bath with jetted soaking tub and separate shower. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We will return:)

This lake house was just what we needed!

My wife and I needed a relaxing vacation spot that was still close to plenty of fun activities. This house delivered for both! Reading our books on the dock was super peaceful, and also made me wish I had a boat to park there. The interior was super accommodating and we felt at home right away. The pool table was perfect for rainy days when we preferred to stay in. Highly recommend for couples and families of all sizes.

Outstanding Experience

The property was exactly as advertised. The area is quiet and while the neighbors were visible, it still felt quite secluded. The house itself is 3 stories and spacious. Nine of us slept comfortably and never felt like we were getting in each other's way. The lake was wonderful; while the fishing wasn't fantastic, we caught several bass and a sunfish over the weekend. Communications with our hosts was flawless and they had everything ready to go when we arrived. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some peace and quiet with lake fun thrown in.

Perfect Lake Escape

Such a great experience overall! The owners were super responsive and kind, the home was immaculately clean, and the dock was so nice. Easy walk from house to dock (unlike many other Lanier homes), the home was stocked with plenty of everything we needed, and the space was great for our group. Beds also super comfy. Would highly recommend!
