Its located 1.2 miles from downtown Shipshewana and about 1 mile from the famous Pumpkin Vine bike/walking Trail! With a 3 bed 1 bath bring your friends and family along to make memories! Equipped with AC, Heat, 65" TV, Wifi, Washer/Dryer, and a kitchenette with an electric stovetop, microwave and sink! Whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring or enjoying a quiet morning inside, this awesome spot offers a welcoming retreat. We highly recommend this place for your visit to Shipshewana! It is located in a quiet and pleasant setting. The beds are comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The house is clean with charming decor. Loved hearing the nearby rooster crow in the morning! The host is friendly and available for any questions. Perfect name - Urban Escape!

The host was very nice .The place was clean, decorated very nicely.Very close to the flea market the shops.What i didn't expect was the place to be behind the host home and attached to his wood shop.There was no chairs or place to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.The front door was looking at the back of the host home. If you are looking for a place to lay your head and just get some sleep before heading to the flea market, than this would be a perfect place for you.

The property was a little confusing, since it's located behind the owners home. Also the parking was a little difficult due to a building sitting in the drive way. The place was very clean. The area was very quiet even though you were in a subdivision. Location was awesome if you were going to the flea market like we were. I will warn you though the entire town shuts down by 8:00 p.m. and doesn't really open up till around 8:00 a.m. I was good with that since we were wanting to decompress and relax. It would have been better if there was some outside seating to where we could have enjoyed listening to the birds and horses that were around us. The internet was a bit spotty, trying to watch a movie was a little difficult. Over all it was great, I would rent again with no hesitation. Host didn't bother us at all and we didn't feel like we were being watched even though it was directly behind his home. Great place and great host.

Thank you so much for your review! I apologize for the inconvenience of the little project that I started that made parking a little difficult/confusing! I do apologize for not having any outdoor seating and that's definitely something I want to get around as we are first year Hosts and that's something that skipped my mind! We did have a tornado go through the area 2 weeks ago and the internet has been a little sluggish ever since and I'm starting to explore my options about switching companies! Again, I really appreciate your honesty as it helps us furnish the Urban Escape for the convenience of our guests! Thank you and your welcome back anytime you're in the area!

Our host was very friendly and welcoming. The areas is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Close to downtown and all other places to see and things to do. Would totally recommend this for your stay in Shipshewana. Love this place.
