Had arranged a long term stay with host after initial 2 week booking and at the last minute, after ghosting my text messages, had it cancelled after breaking off negotiations on 2 other properties. Sent me scrambling to find alternates through July. Then upon checkout, my labor crew thought they had until Monday morning to check out of this one and into next house that afternoon but our stay was until Sunday. Host notified me of this Sunday morning and I immediately got with crew to find out what happened. I offered host to just cover an extra day as they were a 4 1/2 hr drive away and was in turn threatened with needing police details/escorts to pick up their personal belongings the next morning. There was no other guest checking in so I am baffled as to why a host would take that tone when someone offered them to simply pay for the extra day. I have 3 vacation rentals and can't imagine ever treating a guest that way over a miscommunication. We wouldn't of even been in that position had they not cancelled on us. Do not recommend ever dealing with this couple.
