We were in town for a volleyball tournament so location was great. Clean & well maintained. The host was very quick to respond and extremely helpful!

Shower didn't work, (hot water handle wouldn't function ) ice maker wasn't connected,,fan in the bedroom not working, hearing it coming on but it won't turn, Tv volume was 30% of needed volume (should be rotated not usable by seniors with mobility issues Clran, well stocked

I would like to point out, the hot water handle does work. It was loose and has been tightened. If it didn't function for this guest, I never heard about it and I do believe I would have, if they were having to take cold showers. Additionally, we've never had an issue with the ice maker. I'm not saying the guest didn't, but this has been tested since this review and functions properly. As far as the volume goes, I went and tested this personally and didn't see (or hear) any issues. It performed normally, so this must be due to the guests hearing issue and beyond my control. I would also like to point out, this guest booked an additional night during their stay, which is hardly indicative of a 3 star experience. I went above and beyond to accommodate this guest and they were great people. Just a little shocked by the review.

Pros: the beds were comfy and the place was clean. Cons: the house needed a lot of repairs. The faucet in the shower is completely broken, falls off when you try to turn it. The sink in the batroom was leaking creating a puddle on the floor. There were several areas where something was taken down from the wall and the holes or screws were still there. There is no shelf in the bathroom so there's no where to put your toiletry bag. There also is no towel rack (there was one that was removed judging by the holes in the wall) so you can either put your clean towel on the toilet or floor while you shower. There was a keurig but only a few coffee pods, no tea no sugar and no creamer. Nothing in the kitchen for cooking like oil or spices or ingredients. Felt like the host just didn't care.

Thank you Claudia for the feedback. A lot of work goes into the place and I assure you we care. I hate to hear that you were unhappy with your stay. Unfortunately guests do have accidents and things get broken, which is what happened with the towel rack. We have put new towel racks up. I'm unaware about a leak and have never noticed a puddle, but will check this out. Also, I've never known the shower faucet to fall off. That's very odd. It was loose but has since been repaired. As far as the coffee pods, we leave a few out as a courtesy. I'm sorry this wasn't sufficient but we would have gladly provided more had we known. In fact, we leave the supply closet unlocked so the guests can get whatever they need, including more coffee pods. And I apologize but we don't provide tea. It's never really been requested, but this is something we'll look into for sure. It's a great suggestion. Thank you for staying with us and we appreciate your input.

Overall the house is not worth the money. It was clean, but that’s about all I can say. When we opened the door, a musty smell hit us in the face. We went and bought air fresheners to put in the rooms. One night we came back at 9 PM and we were locked out, the code didn’t work, even tho it had worked earlier that day. I messaged TJ but got no response. I called VRBO and after an hour on the phone we were able to gain access. TJ messaged the next morning at 9am and said that he had been asleep. The front door has a gap all the way around the bottom and side of a half inch or more! We shoved a towel in it so mice or spiders couldn’t get in. Minimal cooking items, 1 extra roll of toilet paper(luckily we didn’t need more.) The bathroom sink leaks on the floor, no towel racks to hang up towels, nowhere to put anything on the sink, just a pedestal sink. no mirrors in the bedrooms, the tv remote doesn’t turn the volume up or down or off, the master bedroom needs blinds or shades, the sun blinds you in the morning. The neighborhood is ok, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best area. Don’t let the pic of the fence fool you, it isn’t fenced in. (I know the description doesn’t say fenced in yard, but the pics make you think it is.) The King sized bed is super hard (in case others prefer a soft bed). We ended up leaving a day early because we had done all we wanted to do and didn’t want to stay another day.

Good location, nice little house. I did have trouble getting into the property upon arrival, but host did return messages to assist in gaining entrance.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This is an older house that's been updated. You won't see a floor plan like this often. iThe design is really cool for such a small space. You've gotta see it to appreciate it. It's also right by campus and downtown.
