Google maps didn't take us to the proper lock but they were responsive and were able to direct us there right away. Outside of the property is dingy but everything else was great.

The accommodation was good especially for the value of the rental. We had an issue checking in due to the accuracy of the address, however the host was very good in supporting us after the fact. We understand that this has now been fully resolved. From here we had great access to the city and perfect for our short stop off.

The unit was a great location and 'landing spot' for us. We had plans in the city and in the south & west suburbs. Quick travel to UAB hospital, lots of great local restaurants & close to Red Mountain Park. We really appreciated the convenience & cleanliness of the unit. The host was very quick to respond when we had a question. Restaurant recommendations - #1 The Pita Stop (it's the best!), Big Bad Breakfast, and The Red Pearl Restaurant & Market. Check the free All Trails app for lots of walking & hiking options. Free admission & parking at Red Mountain Park with several trails. We did Grace's Gap Overlook. EXTREMELY well-maintained park & trails!

The host was wonderful and incredibly easy to get up with. The unit itself was as pictured, however the complex and building the unit was in had much to be desired. The location was convenient. The unit was clean and quiet but if you have fragrance sensitivities, you may want to let the host know in advance.

Hi there!
I’m the owner and operator of a short-term rental business built around one simple goal: making guests feel right at home. I absolutely love what I do — especially designing spaces that are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked for a five-star stay.

When I’m not hosting, you’ll find me spending time with my family, hanging out with my dogs, experimenting in the kitchen, or unwinding with a good video game. I’m all about the little details and genuinely enjoy helping people have the best stay possible.

Travel plays a big part in my life, too — from honeymooning in Iceland, to exploring Mexico, to visiting family in Orlando and Gulf Shores. I know what it feels like to have an amazing stay, and that’s exactly the experience I aim to deliver to every guest.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to help and excited to host you!
