Wonderful neighbors that own other parts of the house. Pleasantly surprised the beach was not crowded and we had our own space each day. Apartment is small but cleaver use of space. Water pressure was amazing. Supplies were stocked. Made my day to see pyrex in the cupboards for daily use. I would rebook this one.

Location, location, location! Situated right on Wells Beach, this property was perfect. The unit was clean and the few glitches we encountered while we were there were quickly resolved. The property manager and the owners were both very accessible and attentive to our needs. We were disappointed however that there was no direct ocean front access to the beach. The only door in the unit opened onto the parking lot and we had to walk around the building to reach the beach. Since I specifically asked if this property was on the first floor I felt somewhat misled when it was in fact a basement unit. The bathroom was updated so that was a plus.

The beachhouse was as advertised but underwhelming. The interior was relatively large for our family of 4, with 2 bedrooms, one quite spacious with a queen size bed and closet, and the other very tiny, barely fitting a double bed. We also used the couch bed in the living room which was as comfortable as any older model couch bed (not very comfortable). The kitchen and dining area was large. There was one parking spot, directly in front of the entrance. Check-in details were provided in advance and we had no issues. We brought our own bedding and towels.What was disappointing about the space was that there was only one entrance facing the parking area. Since it was a ground floor beachfront property, we expected a door that let out directly onto the beach. Without that, the property was no better than being a block or 2 off the beach--there was very easy access to the ocean, but ultimately indirect. The property also offered a grill and outdoor chairs, but they were all packed up at the entrance of the property, not facing the beach, where we would actually use them. We lugged a couple of chairs around the side to face the beach a couple of times, but we didn't bother with the grill. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the property was fine, but I would not spend the same amount of money again for it in the future.
