Welcome to Mermaid Memories, a cozy, beachy one-bedroom condo perfect for a laid-back Tybee Island getaway. This 480 sq. ft. retreat sleeps up to 4 guests and is ideal for couples or small families.

The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, and the hallway includes two built-in bunk beds that are just right for children (they are smaller than a standard twin and not suitable for adults). You’ll also enjoy Wi-Fi and TVs in both the living room and bedroom.

Step out onto the private balcony to sip your morning coffee or unwind with an evening drink while overlooking the pool and bay. Watch ships pass through the Savannah Port and soak in the coastal vibes. The pool area offers plenty of loungers and umbrellas for relaxing in the sun.

A short walk past the pool and down the beach access puts you right on the bay-side beach, known for its calmer waters—great for kids and peaceful beach days. The north end of the island is quieter than the south end and perfect for shelling, dolphin watching, and sunset views. Tybee is famous for its stunning sunsets, and you won’t want to miss them.

Want to stay active? Guests also have access to tennis courts and a pickleball court—just bring your racquets.

Cons: Room was not as clean as it should have been. Hairs observed on the master pillowcases and in multiple areas on the bathroom wall and sink. Master bed felt like there was a slumped in hole on the one side of the bed which was a little uncomfortable however melatonin helped me sleep. One of my daughters slept on the couch and woke up with bite marks on her legs which could have been mosquitos though. And pool area apparently does not allow music to be played even though we brought a small speaker for just us to enjoy and the manager came to tell us she had noise complaints only then to come back after to tell us to turn it up more so she could hear it. Signs should be posted to avoid that for sure if that’s an issue. Pros: shower was amazing, beach area was great and super clean, pool was amazing and not too crowded, room and kitchen had everything we needed, location was convenient, and attendant at check in was so nice!!! I would highly recommend this property and would stay again overall.
