This rental was perfect for my family. The location was great, just needed to cross one street and you are at the beach. This area of the beach is not crowded at all which made it even more enjoyable. The condo was spacious and QUIET! Furniture was nice and beds were comfy. The outdoor eating area was awesome. Kitchen is well appointed and had all the supplies we needed during our stay. We had zero issues from arrival to departure, would definitely rent again. Kids had an absolute blast at the pool every day and my older son was thrilled to be able to fish just steps away from our room.

Just as advertised

This was perfect for 4 adults, 2 kids, and 2 toddlers! There was plenty of room for all of us. The beach is an easy walk across the street. The beds were soft also!

Everything we had expected from the site! Although we did get a text day of arrival our booking was being upgraded bc of a water leak. We got a free upgrade closer to the amenities and w an extra bathroom. Very pleased

Excellent place!!

We had a great stay at Lagoon Run! The walk to the beach is perfect! It’s quiet and cozy! We will book again. Only a few things that would have made it any better.. games would have been nice. Keyless entry would be helpful, keeping up with keys and remembering to grab them when someone heads to the room was fine, but keyless entry would have been helpful. Info about the elevator would have been great to include in the welcome/check in email. Parking space was right at the stairs to go up to the room, which was super convenient. BUT the elevator isn’t obvious and we didn’t see it until we had taken a load up and someone said something. lol. It was a wonderful trip and we can’t wait to come back!!

Spring break 2024

Took grandkids, had a great time. Location was great, farther down the "strip" made crossing street to beach easy. Boardwalk access was directly across the street and great beach. Pool was still cold, but open. Dock on lagoon was a nice place to enjoy some peace. Rooms were good size, kids enjoyed loft. Assigned parking, although if you have an oversized vehicle, it could be challenging. Overall, would recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Working with Gulf Shores Rental was a dream, and will definitely go to them first when looking for a rental. Would recommend that the dishes, utensils, cutlery be updated and organized. Having some basic, matching sets would lend so much to the feel of the place and experience.

Nice unit with a few quirks.

It has a great pier for casual fishing, and our unit had a good view of the lagoon. No real Gulf view, and the pool is a bit small. Appliances are in good working order, odd assortment of cookware- very small pans and large stockpots, with nothing in between.

Good location. Clean condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time to gulf shores. We arrived two hours early and thought we could park at the unit and go to the beach. When we called the realty company they said no we can not park there. Other vacations in Florida we have always been able to park and go to the beach until our unit was ready. The unit was clean and we were able to check in around 3:40pm. The only concern we had was the patio door lock was broken and they had been using a small wood piece to keep from someone entering the unit. So we had to make sure that was in place anytime we left and hoped no one could enter. As anyone could access that patio. It didn't go all the way down to lie flat. Other than that we had a relaxing g vacation with a very short walk to the beach and a pool that we enjoyed as well.

As we are not in control of the HOA at this property, we must adhere to their strict parking policies to avoid the risk of our guests receiving fines or being towed. Had we been made aware of the issue with the door during the stay, we would have promptly sent maintenance to address it. We always encourage guests to reach out with any concerns so we have the opportunity to resolve them as quickly as possible. Great location property not ideal

This was our second time at Gulf shores, we love the location and convenience of the lagoon and beach. Close to shops and entertainment. This property was far from perfect. The sheets were stained (looked like pee) the throw pillows in the bed had looked like throw up in them. Our TV didn’t work all week and the maintenance man was unable to fix and we never heard back from them again. There was dust and left over pretzels under furniture. The coffee pot didn’t work, there screen door feel off when we opened it the first time and there was windows on the back deck left and luckily I didn’t have small children with us or that could have been dangerous. Very disappointed and will not stay at this location again.

Off the beaten path

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We typically book something around the hang out area of the Gulf Shores, but this year was different. We stayed in room 303 of the Lagoon run further down between the ocean and lagoon. The place was perfect! Beautiful lagoon view, directly across the street from beach, easy walk. Quiet in the evenings, but fun at the pool for kids during the day. The beds were very comfortable! I bring up the following so the next renter can have a flawless experience: batteries in remote controls need to be changed, rugs should be on patio, nails are sticking up and I got cut. No hardware on outside sliding glass door in master bedroom, no safety doors on patio, they have been removed, and the other downstairs bedroom needs blackout curtains because the light from outside never turns off and there is a constant glow in room all night.

Not relaxing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were looking for a relaxing week away. However we did not get to relax. We were woke up every morning at 6am by construction workers working on the property. We also were not able to go to sleep until 2 to 3am each day due to the guests down one floor to the right partying which also included throwing trash and clothes on the lawn. Our room had a broken chair on the deck, broken door handle and windows,doors and screens that were waiting to be repaired but left on the deck all week. The deck was not a safe place to have kids due to the roting deck boards that had just been painted over. The property management company was very quit to respond when our air stopped working.

Mediocrity and Frustration

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mediocrity and frustration. First day/night the air conditioning went out. We slept at 86 degrees it was miserable. It was fixed about 12 hours later, but not after calling at least 3 times. The unit itself has lots of little things that need attention which are a nuisance and frustrating when getting home after a long day. Like the fans not having a chain to change the speed. - annoying. Like the when you open the dishwasher you can’t stand at the sink to load because the kitchen is so small- annoying. The utensils are dated and minimal. There are not any pot holders- burnt hands. Knives are dull. - annoying. Bath towels are aged worn and small. - annoying. Curtains barley block people looking in much less light. Patio/balcony is aged and has exposed rusty staples and metal. Overall all of the annoying small things add up to just an 2 star experience. Won’t stay at this condo again.

The area experienced daily heat advisories during your stay so we have no doubt the air had trouble keeping up. We are sorry the kitchen was too small and the things you needed have now been purchased and/or replaced in the condo's kitchen. Great location and great price!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have never stayed on the beach so this property was affordable and just a few steps across the street from the ocean! This is a great location- but our car was being repaired so it was a solid 2 mile walk to any groceries or restaurants so be mindful of that. It is a perfect location if you want a little less people but yet still be close to the action

Stay

Everything was nice. Just happened to notice when we turned off the ceiling fan in living room that it was rather caked up with dust. As someone who cleans for living I always look for things this was very obvious and it wasn’t something that happened overnight. Lamps needed dusting also. But overall it was good.

A perfect get away spot for the family.

The property was amazing and the location was fantastic. The description was accurate the room was really clean and fresh and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our neighbors were great and the beach was so close. Traffic was low and slow,, and we were super comfortable crossing it to the beach. Can't wait to come back and stay in the future.

Love the location

Our family loved the location. We all enjoyed being so close to the lagoon with the beach just a short walk away. Sunrise and sunsets on the lagoon were incredible. The kids enjoyed having their own space upstairs. The pool was a little smaller than I expected and got crowded on the weekends. The kids did not mind. The only other complaint is the parking spots are very small. We drove an F-250 and had trouble parking when the spaces next to ours were being used. We would love to stay here again!
