Property:

At the southeastern tip of the island of Rügen, between the Baltic Sea resorts of Göhren and Thiessow, lies the idyllic coastal village of Lobbe—a true gem on the Mönchgut Peninsula. Surrounded by the waves of the Baltic Sea, sheltered dune landscapes, and the rolling hills of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, Lobbe is the perfect place for anyone seeking relaxation in nature.

The village itself exudes a sense of tranquility: thatched-roof houses, small guesthouses, and vacation rentals blend harmoniously into the landscape. Lobbe’s fine-sand natural beach stretches for several kilometers and is ideal for quiet days at the beach, walks, or a refreshing swim in the Baltic Sea—completely free of hustle and bustle.

The area around Lobbe invites you to explore—whether by bike, on foot, or by bus: From here, the sophisticated Baltic Sea resort of Göhren, the idyllic village of Thiessow with its fishing harbor, and the wild and romantic Zickersche Berge are all within easy reach. Hikes along the coast or through the hilly hinterland with its vast meadows, lakes, and salt marshes are particularly popular.

As part of the municipality of Mönchgut, which is part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Lobbe stands for sustainable tourism and a respectful approach to nature. The region is also culturally rich: fishing, crafts, and the traditions of the former Mönchgut fishermen and farmers continue to shape life here to this day.

Lobbe on Rügen—a place to pause, take a deep breath, and reconnect with yourself.
